The Publix Mystery item this week is: Publix Bleach
If you buy $10 worth of groceries (before coupons) you can get the bleach for 1 penny. Most stores do not require the coupon to get the deal, but there is technically a mystery item coupon in your Sunday Publix ad every week.
Rachel also sent in a great deal using the $5 off 5 SC Johnson products coupon from this Sunday’s paper. I added it to the main weekly list but didn’t want you to miss it:
Ziploc Storage Bags $2 ea
-.40/1 Ziploc bags SS 10/12
-$1/2 Ziploc bags SS 11/02
-$5 off 5 SC Johnsons products SS 11/23 (Publix store coupon)
Rachel’s Deal Idea:
Buy: (5) Ziploc products
Use: (1) -$5 off 5 coupon
(5) -.40/1 Ziploc bags coupon (will double to .80)
Total Due: $1 for 5 boxes
Do you have another way to use this new coupon? It doesn’t expire until the end of December so we are bound to find other great ways to use this. This is a Publix store coupon and will work stacked with any other coupons out there, so get thinking…
Every time I go in search of a card for a birthday or special occasion I’m never happy with the choices. Last week I tried to tell my twins to make better greeting cards when they grow up (I doubt they will follow through with that request though). Well, now Hallmark is giving us all a chance to be a greeting card maker.
The will choose 30 cards – 17 Mother’s Day and 13 Father’s Day – 28 of those will win $250 and 2 folks will win $2500. Plus you will get to see your card on the greeting card shelves! You can enter now through December 7th.
A CVS Tip: If the cashier is not busy, ask the cashier to scan your extracare card when you walk into the store, it will print out coupons even though you bought nothing. Then you can use them on your first transaction. Plus when you check out you will get more coupons!!
How I learned this: This past week I accidentally handed the cashier the wrong extracare card. They nicely canceled the transaction and started it again, but… just by them scanning it, it printed out coupons!! I don’t live in a city with the lovely self scanners. I have always heard of folks going in and scanning their cards and getting coupons that they could use on their first transaction. How many times have you gotten a $3 off $15 and wished you had it before you checked out?? While this isn’t as easy as the self scanner, it still works.
I have mentioned Quicken before. Their online version is completely FREE, forever (not just a trial thing). They just did a big upgrade and added lots of new features. Tracking your spending each month is the first step in seeing where you can save more. When you see that you spend $250 on eating out, believe me you’ll be ready to make some changes (that was my husband and I before kids with 2 incomes until Quicken showed us where we were throwing away money). Click the image above or here to sign up.
Want to be amazed at how much you are saving on groceries? I found a fun downloadable tracker made by another couponer that is great. It lets you see your cumulative amount saved and average savings percentage. The best part though, it lets you see the total value of your groceries. I entered information for just the last four months, here are my numbers:
Total Value of Groceries: $3,404
Total Savings: $2,344
Total Spent: $1,059
Average Savings: 69%
Maybe I’m the only person that thinks this is fun to see, but if you are like me and want to play around with it you can download it here.
This seems to the Friends and Family Weekend of sales! Slickdeals put together a list and I have taken it one step further and matched it with Ebates percentages for you.
Two things to point out:
1. If you are already with Ebates make any purchase between Nov 1 -Dec 24th and get an automatic $10 cash back bonus (only one per account)
2. If you are not already with Ebates register now and get $5 automatic cash back with any purchase.

They have all of their clearance clothes another 40% off right now in stores (thats off the clearance price)! So to get another 30% off that, wow did I miss out. Also for any purchase over $50 you get a card for $25 off your next purchase.
Want to get started playing the Prescription moving game? Here are three coupons that are out that you can use.
Rite Aid $25 gift card with transferred prescription
Walgreens $25 gift card with any transferred prescription
CVS $25 gift card with any new or transferred prescription (no current coupon)
**CVS will honor any competitors coupon so take one of the above to CVS**
A tip… CVS will honor any of these coupons and a lot of big Pharmacy’s will honor them just to keep your business. Print it and take it and just ask, it never hurts, or move it and make money.

There are 5 songs on the album. Now, I just wish I had an iPod.
If you are lucky enough to live near a Scholastic Warehouse, they are having their winter sale now. Click here to find a sale near you. To be able to shop you are supposed to be a home educator or paid teacher, however they do not check at all so you can sign up and just go.
Sign up early on their site and get a coupon for $10 off $50. Most items are a couple of dollars so you might find it hard to reach the $50 but it’s good to take with you just in case you go crazy shopping!
**I had the wrong dates for Double Dipping, I’m sorry if this caused any problems!**
It’s almost that time again… This Friday 11/21 and Saturday 11/22 you can use coupons and rebates from the November and December Easy Saver Rebate Booklet at Walgreens (these are found near the weekly ad). Here are the over lap deals and then a few deals that are unadvertised. The Thrifty Mama got these together first so thanks to her for being on top of Walgreens this week! If you haven’t made it to Walgreens yet this week here are the week long deals and monthly deals.
Tip: Do November Rebate items in one transaction and December items in a separate transaction. It makes it easier to get the receipts approved.
