There are great deals on school supplies at Publix this week.  Throw in two new coupons and it gets even more fun:

Sharpie Highlighters B1G1 at $2.99
-$1/2 Sharpie Highlights printable (makes it 99¢)

Pilot Pens 50% off
-$1 off Pilot Pens printable (makes it FREE)

Don’t have a Publix?  That’s okay these coupons are bound to come in handy for other deals!

(thanks Stacey!)

    • Hey Jenny — Some of the Erasable Pilot Highlighters also have a rebate for $4.50 WYB 3 for it'll be a money maker! :) I posted more info on my site.

My Publix didn”t have the retractable to go with the coupon. :(

    • S_Carolina_Girl

One of the Pilot pens that is on sale for $1.00 also had a $1.50 rebate on the package. Money maker! =)

    • Kmel

      • aczek16

same. i signed up online, and went to my inbox. however, upon opening the email, i found a bunch of letters and numbers. so i tried my other email account, and it didnt come through at all. sad day. i love pilot pens.

        • aczek16

Question…I live in North Augusta, Sc, and I love this web site, anyway i was in Publix the other day and tried to use a Target coupon. The cashier asked the other cashier…..” do we accept these??” and the other said “no” I was like ” Yeah you do, I was just in here the other day and used one.” The lady said they do accept competitor coupons but from grocery stores only….hasn't Target turned into one??And if they didn't accept them why have it on this web page?? Confused….

      • Marina115

It's up to the manager of each store to make and enforce coupon policies. Jenny lists every that is available for that item whether your store takes them or not. In my area I have 3 publix stores within 5 miles of my house and each one has different competitor coupon policies. You just have to get informed from your store manager. And be prepared for uninformed cashiers and managers that change it on you. :) HTH

      • Burginriley

The exact same thing happened to me in Columbia, SC at the Publix on Hardscrabble. I told them they have always accepted them from me in the past. They said that the cashiers have always been told not to accept Target coupons.

      • lainibug

At my Publix one cashier has told me they take them; two others have said they don't. However, the Targets near my Publix are not full grocery stores, so I see the line of reasoning in my case.

      • Fsu1551

No. Target is not a grocery store. It is still considered a retail store.

    • Smilemaker29662

The Sharpie retractable highlighters were on sale at my publix and I was able to use the coupon.

    • Altankersley

My Publix (East Lake, ATL) has recently stopped accepting my Target coupons. It burns me up, because they use to. They *are* a competitor.

      • Debbie

Food Lion is opening a store on Austell Rd. in Marietta Ga. I've been watching the progress and it is getting close. Maybe a month.

    • Bkrmc4

My Publix (James Island, SC) does not accept Target coupons because there is no Target in the same vicinity as our Publix. The clerk explained that if there were a Target in the neighboring area, then they would be considered a “competitor” and they would accept their coupons.

      • kaseyshadow

Depends on if it's a super targer. I live in Cola and the PUblix's has a target in the same shoping center and does not accept Target Q's. They don't consider it a grocery store:(

      • Ckfourth

I had a similar situation at my Publix. I can't use the Food Lion coupons because there are none in the Atlanta area.

    • helpmesave

There is a $1/2 multipack Sharpie Accent pens Target Q. Couldn't that be combined with the MQ above for an even better deal? I'm going to check it out. Wish me luck!

      • bichelle

Yes! I printed it out and got two packs of sharpies for $1.00

    • Becky

Walgreens has $1/1 Pilot Pens in their July In Store Booklet and my Publix accepts Wags as a competitor! FREE plus overage if your store allows!!!
