Quick Tip Brew tea to help with your sun burn. Instant relief!

It’s Summertime and that means spending a lot of time outdoors and by the pool! This can be a great time to build your tan, but for some us fair skinned people, it can also mean a painful sun burn if we’re not careful.

Looking for a great natural remedy that you can use with items that you already have for a burn? Boil a pot of Earl Grey Tea (or any kind of black tea) and let cool for a bit. A couple of ice cubes could help do the trick if you don’t want to wait.

Soak a hand towel in the tea after it has cooled and lay it on top of your sun burn. Let the tea soak into your skin and reapply as necessary for some soothing sun burn relief!

Another tip if the tea doesn’t completely cut the pain is to apply lavender oil.  It can go right on your skin and will take away the pain less than 30 minutes.
