I’ve mentioned in the past the idea of buying discount gift cards to save even more on purchases.  My go to site, Coupon Trade recently moved the gift card side of their site to a new site with a new name – Raise.com.

If you haven’t checked out the deals with discount gift cards, now is the time.  Find a card you want and use code SOUTHERN5 to get $5 off any $50 purchase.  Head over and see all the available gift cards to buy.

One gift card I’m considering is:

After the $5 coupon code, I’ll have $80 to spend at Pet Smart and will have only spent $62.70.  We can print the e-card and head to our local store and stock up on dog food.  Since I can use store coupons and manufacturer coupons on top of the gift card, this should make a pretty great deal on a lot of pet food!!

Don’t forget, you can also sell gift cards on Raise.com.  This is perfect if you have a gift card to a store you’ll never shop at or have made returns and got it put on a gift card rather than cash.

Do you see any gift cards you want?
