I don’t buy much at Sam’s but do buy some items that help on my low carb eating plan. It might help someone to know what I consider to be good deals there: 1.5 lb. fresh baby spinach (~$4.88), 1.5 lb.shredded Parmesan cheese (~$10), 22 ct. babybel cheese (~$9), Mission carb balance tortillas, 8 ct. (2 for $5), campari tomatoes -taste great year-round (2 lb, $3.98), 90% lean gr. beef ($3.38 lb.), whole pork loin ($1.59).

I buy a case of hamburger (usually 60-70 pounds) at my club for $.50 less per pound than their regular club price. You just need to ask at the meat department. It comes in plastic tubes that are metal clamped at the end, about 9 pounds per tube. We have a large family & eat about 4 pounds/wk, so it is gone within the 4 month safe guideline. Other families I know split the case.
Also frozen chicken breasts are $1.83/ lb at my club which beats grocery store sale prices by $.17 and
shredded cheese is around $2.50/ pound in a 5 pound bag (generally about $2/lb. less than grocery stores).
