While I usually make these meal plans using the ideas I’m planning for the month, I try to add some variety and never plug in the same thing twice. But I have done something different! Here is a true-to-life meal plan of what I expect we will eat in September, including frozen pizzas for dinner one night when we’re coming back from out of town. You’ll also see some nights where I have planned to eat out. That may not be part of your budget or lifestyle, and that’s fine! You can eat leftovers those night or have eggs and toast. I consider planning to eat out part of my meal plan because I make sure we have money in the budget to do so.

You’ll also see we’re eating a lot of homemade pizza and several meals using a rotisserie chicken. I need a mental break from complicated meals but I don’t want to make frozen pizza every night, so I’m looking for ways to make dinner prep a little easier.
