Making money at home has really been on my heart recently. Companies like Thirty-One, Scentsy, Younique, Origami Owl and many more are fantastic for stay-at-home moms looking to make some extra money. If your goal for 2014 is to have more money for your family saving money on groceries is a start, but for some of you extra income is needed too. To help give you an idea of earnings and products we are going to cover 5 different companies this week. These are the leaders and/or big growing companies in the industry right now. Each day we’ll talk about products and earning potential. You can even get a deal on the products and enter to win free items.
First up, is Connie with Thirty-One. Thirty-One came on the scene a number of years ago and has stayed strong with bags and accessories that everyone loves. Consultants earn 25% commission off products they sell and most sales are done through home and internet parties (I have no doubt that a number of you have been to a party or two). Their products sell themselves with high quality and great designs, plus what woman doesn’t look at organizational tools and want them all?
The more parties and sales you have the more money you make. Plus you will make even more by having folks join to sell under you.
If you are considering signing up, January is a great time. You can get your starter kit for $99 (a $300 value) that includes display items for parties as well as all the business supplies you need to get started. Another reason January is a great month to get started… all your hostesses earn DOUBLE credit in the month of January. This should start you off strong with great parties! If you are ready to get started and know anyone locally already selling contact them to get started, or sign up directly under Connie who is a Director with Thirty One and can help you get started strong.
It is recommended that most consultants try to start quickly by getting 1-2 parties lined up right away. If you can do $200 in sale in the first 30 days you’ll start to earn bonus incentives as part of their Start Swell program. In all you can earn an additional $339 in products if you hit all the levels over your first 90 days.
What is Earning like?
If you are able to hold 2 parties per week, with an average party of around $450 in sales then you would make $900 a month! The real factor is how many parties you can get booked and the time to take to stay on top of your schedule. Most parties will be at night, but don’t forget about online parties that don’t really involve any nights away from family.
Any Extra Expenses?
You will get a company website free for the first 90 days, but after that it will cost $12.95. Most consultants find this well worth the cost, especially during the big semi-annual outlet sales!
Wanna just shop and not sell?
Shop right now from Connie’s Thirty One store, she will donate 20% of her sales to DayBreak Crisis Pregnancy Center, plus all the hostess credit earned through this party will be donated to them as well. What adorable diaper bags and items it will make for these soon to be new mamas.
This month, Thirty-One is focusing on organization and eight items are half priced with every $35 you spend. If you want to get your things personalized, embroidery is also available!
You can find items for the car, home office, pantry, laundry room and even dorm room organization. Why wait for the Spring to clean and get organized when you can kick off the year with it?
If you see more than you can afford, then why not run a party this month and earn double credit? Contact Connie and she can set you up with an online party.
3 Southern Savers readers are going to win a Zip-Top Organizing Utility Totes in the bold bloom pattern (similar item pictured above) and one reader will win Keep It Caddy in pink floral!
