Synovate, a market research company is currently accepting applications!   These will go very quickly today, so if you are interested I’d suggest you sign up and try it.

What is Synovate?
Synovate Global Opinion Panel is an international company that does market research for major companies.

Why Join?
Besides the full size products folks have gotten in the past to try and rate, you’ll also earn points for your reviews and feedback.  The points can then be redeemed for cash!

You are the first to test new products before they hit the shelves.

If you get anything fun to test I would love to hear about it!!

    • Sgesselrn

I love synovate. I actually just got paid $100 to do an IQ test :) How cool is that?

    • KC

Jenny, Have you ever done this before? Does it really work??

      • Tiff715

I have been signed up with their questionair pannel and have never been offered a chance to review a product

        • Sgesselrn

I have made about $30 in the past 6 months and have done product reviews for ice tea, perfume, and soon a hair product of some kind. You won't make a lot of money from it, but it is fun to make a little. It really does work and is not a scam.

    • Ciji

Hi Jenny! I just tried all the links above and every time I got “Server Error 404 – File or directory not found”

    • Kidcrazy26

I just signed up with this so I will see how it goes because we need some extra money so I don't have to go back to work and put the kids in daycare!!

When I click the link it redirects me to one of those free gift scams for a iPhone.

        me too

    • amy

I have been signed up for this for a while. I get surveys pretty often and it equates to about $5 every 2 months, you're not going to earn much from it.
I've not been offered a product sample yet.

    • Me

I have been signed up with Synovate for many years and have only been offered surveys, never product tests, and never much more than a dollar or two here or there. ($100? Really?) But I am also a member of another product testing site where I have tried many things and signed a confidentiality agreement. If I told anyone what I try I could not only get kicked off the panel, but they might also take legal action.

I have been a member of the Synovate panel for about 4 months, and so far have earned $10 just by doing surveys. Also, just got finished with a product comparison for Quaker Oatmeal. They sent me two unmarked boxes of oatmeal (10 packages each box), and I had to review the products, compare the products, and do a final survey on them. That was pretty fun, and I earned what equals out to be about $2.50 in cash for it after I redeem my points for it, plus, we got 20 packages of FREE oatmeal!
Also, I am currently doing a product testing for them for Hunt's products. They sent me the recipe & I have to prepare it according to the instructions, then do a survey on it after my family tries it. For that I will receive a $25 check to compensate me for my purchases for the recipe (ingredients will cost approx $10), so that earns me about $15 just for participating.
All in all a really good company if you are able to get in with them. I highly recommend it. I have no complaints so far!

I've been with these folks for about six months. Many of the surveys abort halfway through telling me that I am not qualified. You would think they would screen the survey before sending them out. Frustrating. I also get the feeling that their network is capacity limited. Nearly every survey I take times out before I finish, causing a 10-15 minute delay. Usually this happens on a page that I submitted that requires 30-40 multiple choice entries, so I have to re-enter all my responses… not fun. So far no samples, and few points (due to survey disqualifications). Had the opportunity to earn $100 by taking an in person IQ exam. for that money I felt the test would be too personal/invasive so I declined. If you're a semi-private person these panels may not be for you. Each survey goes deeper into your personal life than the screening questions you must answer to join the panel.

Just signed up and had no problems at all. Hopefully I will get to sample some products and do some surveys. Thanks.

    • Cleomio

I just signed up. Will see how it goes. Would love to have the same success others have experienced.

    • tori729

I have been with Synovate for awhile and have never tested a product for them. I very rarely get invitations and if I do I don't usually qualify.
The survey site you want to look out for is Pinecone Research. You get $3 for every survey they send you (you always qualify) and often get free stuff to try.

    • Mollie

Synovate is one of my faves. I have been with them about a year, and have tested shampoo, laundry detergent, oatmeal, iced tea, and stain remover. It took a while to get the product testing invites, but once they started, I get one every month or so, with other surveys in between. I just cashed out for $20. I also got the invite for the $100 test, but it had been filled by the time I responded.

    • Danyeln

Synovate is the best. I was with them for a year or so before I got my first product test. Make sure that all your profile questions are filled out, that was my problem, as soon as I fixed that I started getting offers for product trials.

The neatest one I did was for perfume, they sent me 4 small vials I had to wear a different one each day and do a survey each night on how well I liked it. Right now I am doing one for margarine. They sent me two HUGE tubs that I am suppsed to try for a week each and fill out 2 surveys. I am doing the same recipe test that roosterjr is doing, I am planning to make mine tomorrow. I also got offered that IQ test but I would have had to take half a vacation day from work so I turned it down.

In the 4 years I have been doing this I have probably made about $200 plus all the trial products. The cool thing is that even if you don't qualify for the survey you will still get a token amount of points for your time usually around 100.

When I clicked on it, it sent me to an I-phone site. Am I gonna be bothered by solicitors calling my home every night?

    • Grandslamhitter97

This is a gimmick…..even after you fill in for the IPhone….you get hit up for advertisers afterwards…with requiring you to pick sites and purchase with companies getting personal info. Now I will probably get many of unwanted solicitors calling my house now, due to this….DO NOT USE or FILL OUT INFORMATION…..TOTAL GIMMICK!

    • I'm doing some nifty product testing myself, cat products and personal hygiene products.  I've never received anything before so this is cool! please note I did not sign up via this website so anything regarding the link and it's validity is none of my business.
