I’m always excited to find new gluten free recipes to try out for my husband and this one from GlutenFreeFrugal looks yummy enough for the whole family! Of course if you don’t have the GF requirement, you can use any old crackers, pasta and broth and it will probably be a little cheaper!

Are any of you gluten free?  What are your favorite recipes?

My Publix has (actually had :)) Udi’s Gluten Free Bagels for 2/$5.29. If you have the dollar coupons they give out or have online, this is a really good deal. I think Udi’s is changing their packaging and products, so look out for this deal. I like to use these for hamburger buns and make pizza bagels. For those of us that miss the chewyness of bread, this comes really close-give it a try!

We are trying gluten free because of bad brain fog and lack of energy but the food is so expensive. Luckily, our Big Lots has some great deals on gluten free products. All of these are by Bob’s Red Mill (with the exception of the chips ) all are Gluten Free products: Quick Cooking Oats 32 oz $6.00, brownie mix $4.50, shortbread cookie mix $3.50 , pizza crust mix $3.40 conbread mix $2.90, Might Tasty Hot Cereal $2.80 and BBQ chips which we ate and threw the bag away. They are much more expensive at our grocery store.
