I am really getting myself back on track this week with Weight Watchers after slowly slipping away from points tracking over the last couple months. I’m in the mood for some satisfying meals that are so good you don’t feel like you are missing anything.

Several of these recipes have lime, cilantro and jalapenos so buy & prep them once and use in multiple meals to save time and money!

For some amazing WW recipes try Ginas skinny taste.com. You will be pleased with the variety and ease of preparation.  I know it can be hard to find points values for recipes but she has them all calculated. Thank you Jenny for all you do to help us save money.  I hope this will help save you time. I have tried many of her recipes and I’ve loved all of them. Between the 2 of you I’ll be thinner and my wallet will be fat!!

Anyone know if Weight Watchers is a diet that would be good for vegetarians?

      • sarahcas

Weight watchers is SUPER flexible. You are basically able to eat anything you want (within reason, of course). You are supposed to get at least 2 servings of dairy/day and at least 5 servings of fruit/veggies per day, but other than that you can eat whatever you want as long as you stay in your points plus range. I think Weight Watchers online has a free one week trial right now if you wanted to give it a try. I would imagine you could probably go to a meeting once as well, just to see if you liked it. I started online on Sunday (I've done it before, but this is the first time using points plus instead of the old points) and I've already lost about 2 lbs.

They push veggies so you can do really well on the program.

I am a vegetarian and lost over 30 lbs on Weight Watchers 2 years ago.  I have since had a baby and am trying to lose the weight again and not having as much success, but I did awesome on a vegetarian diet!

Visalus shakes are only 1 point on WW and were just APPROVED by WW!! What I love about them too is that they are only 1.80 a MEAL and taste like CAKE!  I love that I am full for 4-5 hours with them…great for my on the go lifestyle!
