This is a special Friday in our house.  My husband and I are celebrating our tenth wedding anniversary!  Looking back, my husband and I would never have seen us being where we are today.  That is the fun part though, is seeing that God’s plans are much bigger than our own.

As for shopping this week, I only hit Rite Aid and Walgreens.  We didn’t really need any groceries with upcoming trips and having already stocked up on holiday meal items.

Rite Aid:
Total before sales and coupons: $5.98
Total Spent: $4.48
+UP Remaining: $5

I went to test the gift set deal I posted earlier this week.  It worked like a charm!

Walgreens:
Total before sales and coupons: $19.73
Total Spent: $5.91
Total Saved: $13.82 or 70%

I bought the Tums and toothpaste that were free after Register Rewards, then used those $6.50 in RR to pay for all the clearance baking goods I found.

The extra in our grocery budget will probably be put towards gas next week as we drive to see grandparents and great grands!
