DIY Christmas. Make your own elastic hair ties.

Here’s a good stocking stuffer to add to your DIY Christmas list.

These elastic hair ties are really popular right now.  They’re an alternative to the plain brown hair ties most of us have.

how to make elastic hair ties

Supplies:

Fold over elastic from Amazon or JoAnn’s.
Ruler
Scissors
Lighter

Cut the elastic, tie it together and burn the edges.  This is one of the most simple DIYs you’ll ever do.  Rather than paying $2.40 each for elastic hair ties, you can pay as little as 25¢ ea. when you make them yourself.

Put them on a piece of card board to gift them in groups, or just go crazy and fill a stocking with them!
