Summer is finally here with lots of opportunities for family time. Weekly movie nights are part of our family rhythm, but sometimes we have a hard time deciding on what to watch. For this time of year, I love a movie that screams “summer,” and there are a lot to pick from. Here are 20 summer family movies you can use for inspiration on your next family movie night!

The Parent Trap (1961 version)
The newer version is good, but I like the original better. This is a classic summer movie that opens with two longlost sisters finding each other at summer camp.
