There is an awesome new coupon from Nestle for B1G1 Skinny Cow Candy!  The most fun part is that they will be B1G1 at CVS starting Sunday 1/1, so you can get up to 4 free when you print 2 coupons.  These are a nice little treat when you are trying to get in shape for the New Year.

Can you use a BOGO coupon on a BOGO item?  Will they automatically let you do this or do you have to explain it to the cashier? Thanks!!

      • Noemail

usually the items ring up half price with BOGO…so a 3.00 item will ring up as 1.50 and 1.50. Your coupon will then allow one of those for free…so it is worth 1.50 off. So both items cost 1.50.  If there were no BOGO and no BOGO coupon…the items would cost 6.00 total (3.00+3.00)  With no coupon 3.00 (1.50 for first one and 1.50 for second). Basically you get 75% off total

        • Jessica

but she said it would be 4 free not 75% off of 4

          • Jamespbenfield

It will be 4 free…just buy 4 use two coupons and as long as the price is not over 3.48 it should be free.  If your store sells them for over 3.48  then you have to pay the difference on 2.

        • Srhine85

At CVS, BOGO items ring up as one being full price and the other one costing $0. Then, after they take of the coupon, then full price one is free too. Things ring up half price in the grocery stores (not in FL).

    • Msdaniels

So you would get 6 for the price of 2? Is that how it would work to get 4 for free? Thanks!

    • Sarah D

the coupon isn’t showing up for me when I click that link?

      • Sarah D

        Nevermind, needed to upgrade browser

    • Danaldrman

anyone know how much these normally cost for 1?

      • Kmadonna

They are expensive. Publix they are 4.00+….I saw them last week somewhere for $3.00 and thought that was a good deal.

    • Crownstar

how do I get the coupon?  I click on the link and nothing happens

    • DanielleDD

      • ThoseThingsILove

        • Ampoe1

          Yeah!! Thanks so much

    • Monarch2003

Yes, you can use a bogo coupon on a bogo sale. Jenny explains it in her cvs tutorial :) its pretty cool!!

    • Anonymous

      Thank you so much!!!

    • R_moon

it will be 4 free.  You  purchase 4.  With Your card scanned 2 will ring up free.  Then with 2 coupons the other 2 will be free.  Its an incredible deal.

      • ME

        Thank you for explaining.  :)

    • JenniferV

The cvs ad shows the skinny cow ice cream not the candy. Will the coupon still work?

    • Laura

The ad says the ice cream and fruit bars not the candy :(

      • ME

Where are you seeing the ad?  When I go online it still shows me the one ending on 12/31.

        • Laura

On mine there’s a tab that says upcoming ad and you can click it and see the next week’s.

          • ME

Oh thank you.  How in the world did I miss that?

      • Firstbrownie

My ad says the 6 ct. for Skinny Cow candy are BOGO; they aren’t pictured, but they are mentioned with Mars Chocolate and Dove candy on page 5. I hope that helps! I’m in central IL, so maybe we have a different ad.

        • Laura

I found where it said candy! However the coupon prints out for a BOX of Skinny Cow

          • ME

The ad says it is for the Skinny Cow 6 count.  The 6 count is a box…..the coupon you have for a box is exactly what is on sale BOGO  :)

            • Laura

I realized that after I sent it. I’m excited about it being the boxes because I love those!

    • JenneyG

The coupons says up to $3.48 so the deal is up to how much the regular price is at cvs. I’m afraid it’s higher than that and they won’t be completely free. But still a very good deal and there’s no limit…

    • Laura

I know it’s not that great of a deal but Wags has the Skinny Cow boxes on sale for $2.99 so at least you know you’ll get one completely free unlike CVS’s which I think are more than that $3.48 per box

      • Ashley M.

But you would be paying $1.25 a box at Walgreens and only $0.75 a box at CVS, assuming the CVS price is $4.99

    • Anonymous

My CVS has it priced regular at $4.99 so it won’t be exactly free.

    • savinga$

Ok….someone please walk me through this scenario.  How does it work when they are on sale BOGO at CVS and the coupon says BOGO?

      • Emily

Since CVS put them on BOGO, they are “paying” for one of the boxes. Then, you use a BOGO manuf. q, so the manuf. is “paying” for one box. Therefore, both are free. I was very skeptical at first, but I totally trust Jenny when it comes to ethical couponing. I did it and got 4 boxes completely free! Now, the coupon says “up to $3.48”, so the cashier should take that amount off, and you’ll be left to pay $1.51 for two boxes (compared to $9.98!). In my case, I didn’t notice the fine print on the coupon and my cashier took the full price off. I feel bad about it and had I caught it, would have corrected him. I shop there every week though so I know they will get their $1.51 back from me, and then some!

    • Guest

$4.99 at CVS. Cashier took $4.99 off for coupon but I told her the max was $3.48…..a good name is better than great riches :)

    • Gamedic911

They are not BOGO in our CVS Stores, here in Georgia.. they are on sale $3.99

    • Wulfsondz

They are not in the piedmont NC ad at all :(

      • Ed In Ncarolina

Look on page 5. Top left under the Snickers/Dove bar. It’s in fine print.

    • Wulfsondz

They are not in the piedmont NC ad at all :(

Went to my cvs In Wilmington nc but by skinny cow tag was not a buy low get one tag but was listed in ad? Will they honor the ad even though tag wasn’t present by item?

      • Ed In Ncarolina

If it’s their printed ad, they will honor it, or be in violation of the law with false advertising.

    • Cynthia_mcgilvray

When I went to Walmart’s site to print off coupon, it wouldn’t print.  Anyoone else have this problem?

    • Roshina L.

My cvs would not take a bogo coupon on a bogo sale in Waterford, MI. So I went to Meijer and got the buy 2 boxes of skinny cow candy and get a 24 pack of water deal for $3.50 after coupon. Not to shabby.

My CVS had them tagged on sale for $3.99 or something like that.  Not marked B1G1 at all.  I just checked it on the red machine and it rang up for B1G1.  It pays to check all of your items before heading to the register!
