cvs deal all detergent

Snag an awesome deal on All detergent this week at CVS!  You’ll get $1 ExtraCare buck when you buy All Detergent, 50 oz at $3.99.  The fun part is that while the add states a limit of 1, it is really a limit 3!  Pair this with a current SavingStar “one or many” coupon and you’ve got an awesome deal!

Deal Idea:

(4) All Detergents, 50 oz, $3.99
(2) -$3/2 All Laundry products, RP 1/05
Total Due: $9.96

Get Back: $3 ExtraCare Bucks & $5 back from the SavingStar eCoupon

In the end you are paying $1.96 for 4 bottles of detergent or 49¢ each!!

If you don’t have the $3/2 coupon, there are a few others you can print that still make it a great deal:

-$2/2 all laundry detergent, 24 load+ printable
-$1 off All laundry detergent (Facebook) printable

Can you help me understand the saving star coupon. Where do I get the 5$ back? obviously not from CVS? Does it show up on a next purchase? Thanks

      • The $5 off will show up in your SavingStar account within 3-5 days after you make the purchase. You can then get it out through a direct deposit to your bank, Amazon gift card, paypal and few other options. It’s more like a rebate.

Jenny, I have activated the SavingStar e-coupon…How will it be determined when I make the purchase? Is there a number I suppose to use or receive a coupon to use it?

          • Angel Glover

You link your stores bonus cards to the savingstar account. That way they know when you purchase it and credit your account.

Jenny, I did the All detergent deals yesterday at Kroger with savingstar. Can I do it again at cvs? I use All Free for my 5months old clothing so i need quite alot :)

      • Sadly, you can only do it once. The SavingStar coupon only works one time no matter what store you bought it in.

Jenny – Just wondered if there is an easy way to add a sale post like this to my existing saved list for CVS this week. I know I can add a single line to the saved list, but I wondered if you could add the box that you can check so that we could then save it the previously saved list.

      • Just saw your comment. I can add it to this post, I’ve also updated the main CVS list too.

      • Okay, for some crazy reason it won’t work in this post. I’ll try to add it to future ones though. Sorry.

        • Jewell33

K thanks for checking. Love your lists. Thanks for the great site.

How exactly does the saving star works for $5?

      • Val

        Nevermind see response below. Thanks

    • Vicki Bronson

Im confused, if it is a limit of three how can you buy 4?

      • VP22

It’s a limit of 3 x $1 ECB rewards. You can buy 4 but you will still on get back $3 in ECB’s.

    • Maggie Jane

Do u purchase them all at 1 time or separately?

    • Anna

My sale ad says limit 1 ECB per household:( 28092

    • Lindsay

Anybody try this recently? I know sometimes cvs catches on when they make a mistake like this and change it in their system. I’m going to try it today, hopefully it will still work.

    • gingerinCA

      OK, I have a question. I have a Upromise account, and I have a
Savingstar account, even though I don’t remember signing up for it. It
has a dollar in the account, so I must have used it at least once once.
Anyway, I just loaded the All deal to my Savingstar account, then I went
to check Upromise, and the Upromise site says “powered by Savingstar.”
So how does it work if you have both accounts? I noticed that the
coupons I selected on Savingstar were not available on Upromise, so is
it just, pick whichever account you want to save the coupons to, and it’s as
      simple as that?

      • ctrinkle

Yes – you answered your own question. You can only choose a coupon on either Saving Star or Upromise. I just stick with Saving Star and accumulate in one account.

    • Sandy

      I did this deal, however I didn’t get the $3 ECB :/

    • Elvira

I did the deal today – bought 4 All Free and Clears, used 4 $1 off coupons and I did get $3 in ECB’s back when I checked out.

    • bree029

I’m new to this; happy with the savings I’m receiving. I bought 4 All’s and used the $2/2 coupons and got the $3 ECB’s; yeah! Thanks Jenny!

I am also new to the CVS/Savingstar aspects of couponing. I purchased the All with the $3/2 and got my ECB’s. Is there a way to check to see if the Savings Star went thru or do I just wait

      • Val

Logon to https://savingstar.com. You can look to see if the ecoupon is activated and if it was redeemed.

    • Manda

I got a 25% off coupon in the mail from CVS, only good on 2/8 and 2/9. Im taking that, with a .50 ECB, a $3/2 and a $2/2 and trying this on the 8th. subtracting the $5.00 credit from SavingStar, my total should be $2.72 +tax = .68 each. if you take off the $3 ECB that prints with them, I get em for free! :D

      • disqus_4IeBpFL8xc

I’m pretty sure that the 25% off will not apply to items that are on sale. The All is definitely on sale.
