I love any recipe that can do double duty, which is true of my homemade sandwich bread. I use almost the same ingredients to make my homemade buns, and now I’m venturing into using the same dough to make this amazing pull apart garlic bread. There has never been any of this left over when I make it, whether it’s for company or for just our family. I promise that you won’t be disappointed!

Easy Pull Apart Garlic Bread Recipe

You’re going to start with half the dough from the sandwich bread recipe that I prepare in the bread machine. If you’re having company, though, you might just have to make the whole recipe of dough!

Turn the dough out on the counter.

Mix together melted butter, salt, garlic powder, and dried parsley.

Then use a sharp knife to cut the dough into about 20-30 pieces. It doesn’t really matter how many; just try to get them all about the same size. I usually cut the ball into fourths and then cut those sections into 6-8 pieces.

Dip each piece in the butter and place in a loaf pan. It’s OK if every part of the pan isn’t covered, because the dough will expand.

Once you’ve used up the dough, pour any remaining butter mixture over top.

Then cover the pan with a damp towel and place in a warm place.

Let it rise until the dough is about doubled in size, which usually takes about an hour. Then bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for about 25 minutes.

How good does that look?! I promise, there will be nothing left.

You’re honestly just going to want to go ahead and have a piece of it—it’s too hard to wait!
