As a homeschooling mama I have to share a great educational freebie tomorrow night.  You can tune in on Debatelive.org and watch Ken Ham (from Answers in Genesis) debate Bill Nye the Science Guy on whether or not creation is a viable model of origins.

I’m not asking us to start the debate here, just sharing a great way for your kids to see how debating works (from a non political standpoint) and maybe learn a few new things too.

The debate starts at 7 pm eastern time and is free for anyone that wants to watch live.

Thank you Jenny! I am in the midst of using a vga cable to hook my laptop to my tv so we can watch as a family. Also, they announced today that Eric Hovind, will be doing a pre-dabate and post debate commentary! Can’t wait!

    • Michelle

We are signed up to watch it. There are several pre-debate interviews on youtube that we have watched from both sides of the issue. My family is excited to see it!

      Thanks Jenny!

Looking forward to seeing this tonight! May God’s creation shine as it always does!

Thank you for posting this! I thought it was only a ticketed in person event, so am glad to hear otherwise. Does anyone know a way to record it? We don’t have Roku, Hulu, or any of those (not that I know if it would help with recording).

      • Abby H

According to the FAQ on debatelive.org, they will post the recording of the debate on the website to view until noon, tomorrow (February 5). It will also be on their YouTube channel. See the FAQ for more info.
