Every kids should be reading over the summer and the older they get they are assigned books to read.  Check out all the ways your kids can be rewards for their reading with this list of FREE Summer Reading Programs for 2017.

There are several great programs where you kids can have fun reading and be rewarded with books, prizes, and cash!

Don’t forget that the library is an excellent source to find books for many of these reading programs!

Free Summer Reading Programs 2017

Sylvan Book Adventure – Sylvan offers this FREE reading incentive program. Your kids can read books, take quizzes and earn prizes!

Sync – Two free Audiobooks for kids 13+ each week throughout the summer.

Half Price Books – They are offering kids ages 14 and under a chance to earn Bookworm Bucks, good for purchasing books in any HPB store, for reading (15) minutes each day throughout the summer.

Barnes and Noble – Earn a FREE book after reading (8) books and keeping track of them in a reading log.

Books A Million – Read 4 Books and Get a Free Maze Runner Water Bottle.

TD Bank – Read and keep track of (10) books this summer and your child will get $10 added to their Young Saver Account FREE!

Chuck E. Cheese – Earn (10) FREE tokens each time your child reads for 2 weeks in a row by filling out the form and bringing it in to claim your tokens.

Pizza Hut Book It Program – Set a reading goal for your child and they earn a free personal pan pizza.  Enroll online for homeschoolers.

Scholastic Summer Challenge – FREE summer reading program invites kids (ages 4-14) to help set a NEW world record for summer reading!

Lifeway Christian Stores – Read 6 Books and memorize 6 scripture verses and get a free book plus a new devotional or Bible.  Geared for kids in 1st through 6th grade.

Your Local Library –  Never forget your local public library.  All of them offer summer reading programs with all sorts of rewards and incentives (plus free books to checkout)!
