I got a little over zealous this week and went out to 4 stores for deals!  I can’t tell you the last time we have hit that many stores in the same week.  We really don’t need much, if anything we need to eat from what we have.  I currently can’t get anything else into my outside freezer, so we are going to have a “eat from the freezer” week or two.  What did want was to get motivated and excited on savings, so I decided to make trips just hitting the highlights… the best of the best deals and see how we could do.

Target and CVS were the first two stops for the top deals.  I shared my CVS breakdown in a video earlier this week, see the video above (it’s long but I shared how I broke down the deals and answered questions as they came up on the live video).

CVS Total:
Total Purchase Value: $126
Total Spent: $24.18 (after apps)
Total Saved: $101.82 or 81%
ECB Remaining: $10 ECB

At Target I went in just for some of the freebies.  Here’s my actual shopping list and the deals we grabbed.  I love all the freebies, but grabbing them is a lot like a treasure hunt.  Prices vary from store to store so sometimes I change my mind when I see the price, or other times you can walk all the aisles and never find the item!  We ended up not finding 4 items on the list…

Target Total:
Total Purchase Value: $55.68
Total Spent: $14.79 (after apps)
Total Saved: $40.89 or 74%
Gift Cards Back: $5

After that a quick trip to Bi-Lo and Publix.  I am already in both stores walking for unadvertised deals to share, so I might as well grab a few of the top deals!

I only grabbed 4 deals at Bi-Lo, here is the shopping list I made.

Bi-Lo Total:
Total Purchase Value: $32.30
Total Spent: $9.64
Total Saved: $22.66 or 70%

At Publix we got the most deals over the other stores, but actually spent the least amount of money after mobile apps!!  Here’s the deals and coupons we used.

Publix Total:
Total Purchase Value: $69.82
Total Spent: $7.60 (after apps)
Total Saved: $62.22 or 89%

Weekly Totals:

Total Value Purchase: $283.80
Total Spent: $56.12
Total Saved: $226.68 or 80%

That’s a week that energizes you to keep going with coupons!
