This week I planned to do some big shopping, but like most everyone life just kept getting in the way. It doesn’t help that we have a great stockpile thanks to the way I grab deals to heading to the store is never a true emergency. I did end up in Kroger though helping out a friend, so while I was there hunting for unadvertised deals I couldn’t help grabbing a few things.
Kroger is running their Digital Coupon promo right now. They have 30+ special coupons that come off up to 5 of the same item. That’s like having 5 printers or 5 newspapers! The coupons are good through 7/31 so you don’t have to run out today, you’ve got time to use them.
There wasn’t a ton that we needed but I couldn’t pass up Tide or goldfish. Then we found a great deal on cheese. So that’s what we grabbed… definitely not meal worthy, but you should have heard the squeals of delight when goldfish came in the house! I will only buy them when they are $1 or less per bag so it’s not a very often treat around here. Head over to the Kroger Ad page see all the deals with this coupons.
Kroger Totals:
Total Value: $45.49
Total Spent: $21.95
Total Saved: $23.54 or 52%
The only paper coupons I used were 1 for the bottle of tide and I split the transaction into two at checkout so I could use the $2 off catalina from the cheese to help pay for the other items. For a week with little time to cut coupons, I can handle cutting one!
