I couldn’t resist free shampoo at CVS this week!  Lately I’ve only been going in once a month around the time my ExtraCare Bucks expire, but I was just there last week.  Our currently favorite shampoo is FREE this week though so I quickly cut the coupons and added it to my list of errands on Wednesday.

We are also heading to the beach in a few weeks so it was time to grab the first sunscreen deal of the year (with 4 red heads in the family we should stock in anything over 50 spf).

CVS Deals

Bought:
(2) Coppertone Suncare, $10 ea.
Used:
-$5/2 Coppertone Suncare, SS 4/30
-$8 ECB from last week
Total Due: $7
Get Back: $3 ECB

Bought:
(2) Garnier Whole Blends Hair Care, $3.50 ea.
Used:
(2) -$2 off Garnier Whole Blends, SS 5/07
-$3 ECB
Total Due: nothing
Got Back: $3 ECB

CVS is always a win for me if I can get things I need and save a chunk on them.  It’s okay that I still spent $7, paying $3.50 each for sunscreen is a great price!

Bi-Lo Totals

We grabbed a few things in Bi-Lo this week, nothing like last week though.  Sadly with a smaller buggy it took 3 times as long thanks to a difficult cashier.  I say that not to vent, but just so you know it happens to us all.  This particular lady was a “verifier” and it was kinda like being audited before you could check out.  She would call out the coupon and I’d dig through the already bagged groceries to hold up said items.  Love that game…  In the end we hadn’t used a single coupon incorrectly.

Total Purchased: $82.19
Total Spent: $39.87
Total Saved: $42.32 or 52% off

This included a good amount of produce because we missed our produce co-op last weekend.  Here’s the shopping list and deals we grabbed.
