I ran out last night with 4 kiddos in tow to grab some deals at Publix.  I would love to have also made it to Rite Aid and CVS this week, but the cold the girls and I all had last week my husband caught this week… We did pretty well at Publix though and I’m thankful that Mary Rose’s strength is coming back to where she could last for most of the store on crutches (having three kids in the buggy doesn’t leave much room for groceries).

To see all the deals I grabbed check out Periscope and watch the short video I made of our deals.  If you aren’t on Periscope it’s a fun way to share video live (or watch it later).  This was my first try at it, but it was fun!  You can follow me by searching for @SouthernSavers and you’ll see yesterday’s video plus any future videos I do.

You can also see all the deals and coupons I grabbed by looking at my actual shopping list.

Publix Totals:

Total Value Purchased: $162.25
Total Spent: $69.26
Total Saved in store: $92.99

Mobile App Savings: $7.75 ($5 to Ibotta, 75¢ to Checkout 51, and $2 already paid by mobiSave)

After the mobile apps that puts us at $61.51 for the week.  Not too bad really.  I’m over budget but will blame it entirely on my lack of will power for fresh mozzarella cheese and tomatoes.  At least they were both on sale!
