Wouldn’t the Hormel Pepp. Stix actually be $1 per each one?

      • That is what I was thinking.

      • Jennb2005

        That’s what I got too! 3.89-2.00=1.89/2=.95cent each

      • Yep, sorry about that!

    • Guest

I guess this is telling me I’m stocked up and need to use up what I’ve got since this is the first time I’m not even tempted to go buy anything after 3 SuperDouble lists. I even have the recyclebank coupon to use. At least I have another month and half to use the recyclebank coupon. I can sleep in tomorrow.

      • I hope that my recyclebank coupons come in– I ordered them last week. There are a few things that I want. Plus, we have Farm Fresh having Super Doubles as well tomorrow….. except they double up to $2.

        • Guest

Well I can tell you the timeline for receiving mine. I kept track this time. Ordered on 2/2, checked with recyclebank and they said they’d go out on 2/9. I received them on yesterday, 2/13.

        • mamabelbel

I have had mine take up to a month to arrive.  The last time I ordered it took about 2 weeks.  So, you might get lucky and get them in time but it might be closer to the end of the sale if it works for you like it has worked for me.

      • Just an FYI, you can use the Recyclebank coupon on a gift card…$40 for a $50 gift card, then you don’t have to worry about spending the high dollar amount after coupons in one trip!  I just got my first of five tonight!

        • Guest

Gee thanks never thought of that. That way if I don’t have enough to buy I can extend the expiration. I ordered 3 coupons this time and it’s looking like I’m pretty stocked so I was concerned I wouldn’t be able to use all three by 4/3.  I assume there is no expiration the the gift cards. Can anyone confirm?

        • Trianglemom

Ive heard of and thought about doing this.  The RB coupons I have says $10 of $50 GROCERY purchase.  I cant recall if the ones I used before were so spesific.  Im not sure this would fly at my store since a GC isnt groceries.  Did your coupon say groceries and did anyone at the store question using it on a GC? Thanks.

          • Guest

mine said groceries and it was not questioned, used it with no problem

            • guest

i tried to buy a gift card this morning and was told the q was for grocery purchases only

        • I love this idea!  I just ordered 4 coupons and was wondering if I would use them all before they expire.  I will just buy gift cards with them!

        • Guest

Well my store would not take the recycle bank coupon when buying a HT gift card. I guess you’re lucky your store did.

    • Amy

Does anyone know if HT will let me super double on a raincheck? I should know the answer to this, but I keep talking myself out of it :-)

      • Maria

        Yes, you can.

      • MomOf4

They sure will.  Just do the rainchecks first, then the coupons get taken off with everything else at the end.

      • Yes – You are paying for it at that price – the coupon is doubled separately.  I have about 6 rainchecks that I plan on using this week!

      • Amy

        Thanks guys!  Can’t wait :-)

    • Perfect timing on this list!  I was just finishing up my list for “get first” tomorrow!

    • Momsdword1

Thanks a lot for all the lists.  I hope to shop for a few things and wait to see what is offered on Friday Evic.

    • guest

HELP!  Anyone know if the new coded coupons that say “Do not double” will double or not?  I know they have in the past, but just want to prepare appropriately!

      • Guest

Just a word of caution. Even if they do double some of the cashiers are really looking at the coupons now. I used one last week and didn’t realize it said DO NOT DOUBLE, it did double but the cashier noticed it. I had two so she just didn’t scan the second one.

      • Noelle704

the new bar codes won’t double if it says DO NOT DOUBLE, however with the older bar codes, if it starts wih a 5, it will double, but if it’s a 9, it won’t. The cashiers at the HTs in Charlotte never check if it says DO NOT DOUBLE, however if you have a coupon that starts with a 9, and it doesn’t mention DO NOT DOUBLE, the manager at the HT said they won’t override it.

        • Trianglemom

Its hit or miss.  Ive had several of the new barcode coupons double eventhough it said DND. (ex Ballpark, Hillshire Farm).  I assume the ones that say DND wont, yay bonus if they do!  My biggest peeve are coupons with the new barcode thats coded to not double but its not incl in the verbiage (Hostess).

          • Noelle704

I had a ballpark coupon once and with the new bar code it didn’t double but I didn’t want to make a fuss and I just bought it anyways.

        • Guest

The cashier I had last week in Charlotte checked and when the system doubled it she took it back off. Very dependent on who get at checkout even in Charlotte.

    • Stacey

The is an E-coupon for the downy unstoppables making it 1.99

      • Brjb579

        I LOVE that stuff!!!! TY!!!

If i have a catalina for $1 off next purchase from Lowes Food will Harris teeter take it?? Help!

      • Guest

Yes they should. I’ve done that before only opposite. Used one I got at HT at Lowes.

      • Harris Teeter will take $ off coupons from other stores

      • Sumsum84

        thnks for the help

    • Lfriend81

Jenny, you’re amazing!  I hope you had a great date night, i can’t believe the list got posted so quickly! thank you Thank you Thank you!

      • I have a sweet husband that helped me :)

    • Charlottebeckster

Happy Valentines, Jenny.   Thanks for all you do to pass on these great deals to us.  Remember loving family relationships first.   :)

    • How is Hormel Pepperoni Stix free when you have to buy 2 ($1.94 each) with (2) $1/2 coupons?

      • JPBMC

It wouldn’t.  It would be $1.98 for 2

        • I was thinking that too!! Im glad I wasnt the only who noticed that!

    • Cheryl

I don’t see the second list. Am I missing something?

    • Noelle704

My Splenda coupons said Do Not Double and it’s the newer bar codes

    • MaryCanSave

Why did the barcodes change?  Because of barcode “readers” that defraud the system?

      • Lstcoupon

Because you can get more information on the new barcodes.  The new system has been in the works for years.  The slowdown has been the ability of the stores to upgrade to the new readers.

    • Jen

On the 10 dollars off 50 HT coupon from Recyclebank, does it state anything about certain stores where it can be used? When I look on Recyclebank it says that there are no participating stores in TN although there are lots of HT here…….

      • Noelle704

I don’t think it matters, but if you can’t find it, always use a Charlotte zip code, try 28202 since Charlotte is the headquarters for HT

      • Guest

I’d call my local HT and ask if they accept it before cashing in your recyclebank points. This is the first time they had a map of participating stores so I’m not sure if every store will honor them. My store is on the map so I’m assuming I’m good to go.

        • Noelle8818

They’ve always had a map of participating stores in the area that I shop.  I have to select the Raleigh location, but I shop in Chapel Hill.  It’s not listed as a participating store on the map.  HOWEVER the coupon does NOT state at participating stores, and the Chapel Hill store has accepted it no problem.  It doesn’t even require an override.

    • Jb7404

Awesome trip $141 groceries for .33 cents. Got a $10 off of $50 credit. Still trying to figure out why. But, not complaining. Please let me know if anyone else got this for no reason. Thank you! And thanks , Jenny!

      • Guest

The $10 off $50 was in my weekly HT email. Probably in yours also. Says limit 1 per customer.

        • Jb7404

Thank you! I read it and it was there. It did say after coupons and discounts, but again not complaining!

      • Cfoster1212

        Can u tell us how?

In order to get the $10 off $50 and end up with .33 oop it must have taken the $10 off before coupons and vic discounts. Can you confirm that is the case? The offer says after coupons and discounts but it appears it’s doing it before coupons and discounts.

    • Just got home and got a catalina for $2.50 off my next trip from V8. It says, Buy any V8 (46oz+)….. buy 3 get $2, buy 4 get $2.50, buy 5+ get $3

    • Kristin

Thank you so much! I saved $89 and spent $11. I heart coupons!

    • Iris Hartness

As long as your bill before coupons hits $50, you’ll also get $10 off too!  I checked out at 7 AM this morning and ended up with $114 worth of groceries for $3.30 OOP!

      • ItaRay

        wow!!!!! good job!

      • Guest

So even though the $10 off $50 offer says $50 after coupons and discounts it’s giving the $10 off as long as you hit $50 before coupons? Before coupons and vic savings?

        • Ctrinkle

The Harris Teeter evic coupon for $10 off of $50 is before coupons.  The recycle bank $10 off of $50 is after coupons.  Only select people are getting the Harris Teeter evic.

          • Guest

My HT email said for the $10 off $50 after coupons and discounts. It must be doing it before even though the email said differently. I hope if I go they do like others having been getting it versus what the email said. Then they wonder why we as customers are confused on their policies.

      • Mywolfcubs3

I had a cvs coupon for $10/$50 purchase and they would not allow mento use it because they said it has to be $50 after coupon amd savings. :(

    • anneconover

There is a Saving Star coupon for Gum Toothbrushes $1.00 off 2, does not include Crayola Kids tb’s.

    • Hotinpink

Johnsonville Summer Sausage, 12 oz, at $4.55 ($2.27)

-$1 off Johnsonville pork and chicken sausage, SS 1/01

-$1 off Johnsonville Italian sausage (Facebook) printable

      -$1/2 Johnsonville sausage, SS 1/22

-$1 off Johnsonville traditional brats or pork & chicken Italian sausage, (zip 62946) printable

      (makes it 27¢)

How can you use those coupons when they dont match the item, i dont get it..All those coupon are for  refrigerator sausage

      • Sorry, that was one that I pondered last night for a long time.  I honestly had no clue what summer sausage was!

        • Me

I actually ended up getting the Johnsonville Link sausage that were 3.89 each, but with my $1 off I got them for 1.89

      • Me

For Harris Tetter you only need to match the 1st 5 digits of the coupon to the item number where the price is:
For johnson ville look at the item label you want to bye, should start with 77782, then look at your coupon and make sure it also starts with 7782

        • Mtmkjr

Yikes….no.  This is wrong!  You must match the WORDING on the coupon to the item you are purchasing.  Any other use is incorrect, and could result in the store not being reimbursed for the coupon. It also leads to tightening up of policies coupon restrictions and hurts all couponers when a few  people use coupons this way.
The first 5 digits are the manufacturers code.  Saying you only have to match the first 5 digits is basically saying you can use a Pillsbury Refrigerated Cookie coupon on ANY Pillsbury item.

    • Goodkristen

amazing trip today at harris teeter-$75 in coupons and $31 in vic savings-not to mention $10 off $50 purchase automatically took off at the register-i guess this was a vic reward of some type spent $4.82 oop…..loooove it!

      • Guest

was $10 off 50 just for your evic or for any purchase over 50

        • Guest

My weekly email for the $10 off $50 says it’s targeted to select e-vic customers and is not transferrable so my guess would be if you didn’t see the offer in your email you wouldn’t get it. You can always go to customer service and give them your VIC number and they can probably tell if you have the offer associated with your card.

          • Angie

Hi, I was wondering where exactly you see the $10 off in your email. I just want to make sure I’m looking in the right spot. I keep hearing about people getting this coupon but I’ve yet to receive one :( Thanks!!!

            • Guest

It’s not a coupon it’s in the weekly specials email I got today. In mine it’s a section at the top of the email under the green bar categories and before the section that says it’s SuperDoubles week. I got the same offer in last week’s email. I didn’t use it last week so I’m not sure if that’s why I got it again this week or if they just offered it again. If you didn’t get the offer you can get a coupon for the same offer mailed to you from recycle bank if you have 100 points but it takes about 2 weeks to get it in the mail. The recycle bank coupon currently offered expires 4/3/12.

            • Angie

Just checked in the area that you guided me to and it’s a no go :( Thank you for telling me about recyclebank. I actually just found out about that yesterday and earned my 100 points and ordered the $10 coupon. Tood bad it won’t make it for doubles week but I guess any week will help!! Thank you for your response :)

      • Guest

I guess I’m confused on how you could just spend $4.82 oop when you were able to use the $10 off $50 since to use that it said you had to have $50 after coupons and discounts. Did it take the $10 off before coupons and discounts? I’m assuming vic savings are considered discounts as far as the $10 off $50 is concerned. Others have posted similar oop and they also said they got the $10 off also.

      •  How did you get the $10 off it wasn’t listed on my email but i have seen people talking about it in the forum is it automatic?

        • Wsult3

Some people are getting this offer automatically loaded on their cards. There is a special banner in your eVic email if you are one of the lucky ones.

    • Skinnyworld

At my local Harris Teeter, they had a store coupon on display last week for $2 off Smithfield Bacon. I’m not sure if you could stack this with the manufacturer’s coupon but if you could, I think it could be free…

Also, I was wondering about the McCain potato deal because the coupon says for McCain Purely Potato product and the sale is for sweet potato fries or hash browns…is this the same thing? Does the deal work to get the product free?

      • Felicia

Yes, you can stack the HT store coupon with the manf coupon. I went this morning and did not have any problems doing so. Not sure if this matters but I did give the HT store coupon to the cashier last. Just think of the HT store coupon as an e-VIC coupon. Same concept. Just fyi…you can only use one of theHT store coupons for the bacon (it reads, only one per household).

      • Mtmkjr

In my store both the Purely Potatos and Sweet Potatoes were on sale

    • Ptw1204mommy

Question…When a store doubles a coupon, who pays the doubled amount? I am under the impression that the manufacturer pays the coupon amount and the store pays the doubled amount. If this is true, why do manufacturer put “DO NOT DOUBLE.” Why would the manufacturer even care? I am very new to coupons and really hoping someone can help me better understand this. Thanks!

      • 1751

I was absolutely about to ask the same question, just didnt know where to ask it- the store pays the doubled amount- so why does the manufacturer care?

        • Ctrinkle

I have asked this question before and the answer is that manufacturers only count on so many coupons to be redeemed.  If the store doubles coupons, it increases the redemption rate beyond what the manufacturer was planning on so it ends up costing them more money.

          • 1751

             great answer- thanks!

          • KT

Thanks, I had no idea that was the reasoning behind it.

          • Ptw1204mommy

Thanks for helping me to better understand this policy!

        •  Another reason is that it screws up the manufacturer’s number on supply and demand.  Do you honestly love their product and they need to make more?? or are you only buying it because you had $3 off with super doubles?  They have no way to know and can’t plan accordingly.

    • luv2save

Had a GREAT morning at the HT on Oberlin in Raleigh- it was a bit farther drive for me, but so worth it as the HT i usually go to is always crowded and shelves are cleared – not the case today. Total before all savings was 197.52, after coupons, evic deals and ZVRs I paid 51.50.  This doesn’t count the Savings Star savings.  Here’s what I got, we don’t eat much processed food, so I was really focusing on cleaning supplies, paper products, etc:

2 Hefty OneZip bags (q, evic, zvr)
      Lyson neuatra air fabric spray – clearnance for 2.83, then $1/1 q = .83
Febreeze sweet citrus zest fabric spray – clearance 2.99, then $1/1 = .99
      Carpet Fresh = 2.19 then $1/1 = .19
Folgers KCups not on sale, but I had a 2.50 off HT q
      2 12 rolls of cottonelle
      Charmin Freshmate Tubs = 2.69, then $1/1= .69
      charmin big roll 4-pack = 2.99 then $1/1 and .25 ZVR = .74
      1 roll of bounty paper towels (4 for 8) = $2 then $1/1 and ZVR = .25 MM
      Downy Unstoppables = 5.99 then $1/1 and $2 ZVR  = $1.99
Pledge Products 4.85  each, $1/2 and savings star – not the best deal, but needed it
      Air Wick Odor Detector Spray System – 14.99, clearance for 7.49 -$2/1q = 5.49
      Newmans Own kCups = 7.99 – $1.50/1q = 4.99
2 Muir Glenn Tomato Paste and $1/2q
New York Garlic Knots 2.50 – $1/1q =.50 (these were not marked on sale)
      Alexia Onion Rings 1.25/1 q
McCain Sweet Potato Fries 2.50, then $1/1q and Saving star (i dont think these were maked on sale either)
      Activia 4 Pack 2.59 – $1/1 and $1 ZVR
Smart Balance (I only had the .75/1 q)
      Nivea Lip Care 2/3 and 1.50 / 2 = free
      Band-Aids 2.99 then 1/1q = .99
      Sarna Anti-Itch Lotion, 10.99 – $5/1q – $2 ZVR = 3.99
      Vaseline Intensive Care  Lotion (3oz) 2.65 – $1/1- $1 ZVR = MM

I also got the Oral B floss picks and an Oral B toothbrush to match with q’s and ZVR, they were marked on sale, but looks like they didn’t ring up that way now that I am looking at home they were 3.85 – $1q or .75q and then the .75 ZVR – they WERE marked as 2.99 – not worth going back, but be sure to check yours out too.

I also had a 10/50 Recyclebank q as part of the savings.

Pretty good day one!  Hope this helps someone else!

      • luv2save

sorry this is so long :(  but wanted to share!

      • Evitab

        SUPER AWESOME!!!!

      • Svetla

The Saving Star coupon didnt ring up on my receipt, even though i entered my VIC card????Can anyone tell me how the recycle bank works?I cant seem to be able to print out the coupons

        • luv2save

Saving Star doesn’t show on your receipt, it shows in your balance saved on savingstar dot com.  So its additional savings not shown on your receipt.  Recycly Bank HT coupons are not printable, you receive those in the mail – usually takes abt two weeks to get them

    • I only spent a hour last night thanks to this wonderful list Jenny has provided us with! I saved $104.89 and spent 43.13…One hour of work organizing and over a 75% savings! I love it. Thank you!

Jenny: I can’t tell you thank you enough. Our family literally lives off coupons and the deals she puts together; I don’t know how we’d make ends meet without it.

      •  I’m glad it helps!

BUMMER! No $10 off of $50 in my email :(

      • ItaRay

Not sure if I had an email but I am assuming it automatically takes it off because it took it off my order this morning.

        • Sumsum84

Really!! That would be awesome!!! I hope it works for me then, Thanks!!

      • Cggap25

Just random people received $10.00 off $50.00 email? Did you have to do anything to get this? Like purchase something special?

        • Guest

The coupons were sent out to areas that have had Food Lions close that are near the store.

      • Reneec11202

I got it off my order today too I am still not sure why LOL!
        But I’ll take it!!

    • mc

So happy to get 4 boxes of Fiber One brownies for less than $1 each!  Does anyone have any idea if I go back tomorrow and purchase another 4 boxes if the instant $2 off will work a second time, or is it a 1 time thing tied to a VIC card?

      • JGW

The email says one per transaction

      • hulalani

it’s per transaction.  I didn’t use all 20 coupons when I went this morning, and I noticed that I didn’t get the additional $2 off with the purchase of 4… SO I went back over to get more & get  my $2.  I was able to get my refund plus got $2 off the next 4 plus got the $1 off of the hamburger helper WYB4.  SO, it’s per transaction.  you can go back every day this week if you want to

    • Kcreviews

Make sure you look at your local HT ad. Our HTs did not have the Green Giant frozen veggies on sale nor a few other things that were listed here. I still got some good deals, just not as many as I thought I would.

      • No Green Giant Veggies in Hampton Roads, Virginia either. :(

    • Anita59

My trip today $55.43 total… after coupons $1.42. didn’t use all 20 coupons, so I went back and got (3) Smart Balance milks for .09. Looking forward to going back Thursday!!

      • ItaRay

Where did you get the smart balance milk coupons? I used mine at Lowes Foods last week, now my family is out of milk already!

        • Omo65

ss 1/8. it’s for $1.50. i got it for free too.

        • Mywolfcubs3

I can try to find mine tonight. If u want to email me, I can mail them to u tomorrow. mywolfcubs3@gmail.com they won’t double those at the location I use

      • Sarah

If you don’t mind sharing, I would love to know how you got 3 Smart Balance milks for $0.09. My flyer says 64 oz S.M. milks are 2/$6 (not sure if your area is different). Thanks!

        • Anita59

          use$1.50 coupons.

    • Kimkooks

Could somebody tell me please-I know that the GM deal is one per transaction but is it one of each deal per transaction. Or, for example, can I buy 4  cereals AND 4 fiber one bars in one transaction and get the deal?

      • mc

Yes.  I did that this morning and got $2 off the cereals and $2 off the Fiber One brownies.

      • Omo65

yes you can. i did it

      • RioChick

i bought the cereal and fiber one bars this morning and i did not get both deals on my receipt, but i called customer service and they applied the second $2 deal to my vic card for my next trip…

    • Noelia

samrt balance milk Glad some people getting for 09. or free the coupon said do not double and cashiers are been told read each cuopon

    • momofhree

just used 18 coupons at HT, spent $11.67, saved $73.16!  Whoo hoo!  Two of my dollar off coupons did not double for some reason (I noticed when I checked at home), but i am not complaining~ what great savings.  could not find the mac n’ cheese, anyone know where to find that?  It was not in the freezer or the aisle with box mac n cheese.

      • Mywolfcubs3

I found it in the aisle with the Mac and cheese onthe top shelf. I got their at 7:45 and got the last two. I was wanting more:( lol

      • Lyndsey

It is right next to the hamburger helper in my store.

    • BuckeyeSara1982

Check your e-vic coupons!!! There is one that will take an additional
$.50 off a box of Cheerios (for the GM cereal deal) $1.00 off Wolfgang Puck Pasta Sauce (+1.00 coupon = $.19 final cost)$.50 off Fiber One bars$1.00 off Campbell’s Kettle Soup (+1.00 coupon = $.79 final cost)

      • Dquin

the wolfgang puck one I got is for soup or broth, not the pasta sauce.

    • Amyb

Does anyone know where to find the Crunch Master crackers? I have the coupons but couldn’t find them in the cracker aisle at all. Searched and searched. Any hints? I couldn’t find an employee handy to ask.

      • A_lynn252

There were in a different section in my store, I think the manager called it whole foods or natural section.  I had the same problem and had to ask about it. It was close to the produce in my store

        • Amyb

          Thanks. I will look there.

      • Ewilson0814

         In the deli

      • Cheryl

Not at the store I went to today.. I looked to and didn’t find them. Would have been good with the dip that is on sale….

      • Buzz4jesus

near the bread, not with the other crackers on snack aisle

        • Dquin

it’s on the top of the display of specialty cheeses. Bought one tonight and we really like them. They are like Japanese rice crackers.

      • Brooke

Mine were on an end cap near the bread isle.

      • Malcolm

I found the Crunch Master crackers today, finally. Got a pack free w/ the coupon!! Thanks Jenny!!

    • Bobbye Newsome

OMG I have been trying for 10 minutes to get the 8th continent soymilk coupon and I finally just gave up!  Why do they have to make it so hard??

    • M&MsMommy

Question: Did anyone have problems with the Fiber One and GM Printables? When I got to the store I noticed they had that long bar code and didnt include the regular one that always scans so I was hesitant to use it for the Chex and Fiber One brownies…I also went down the aisles and noticed everything was fully stocked for them so I think others were nervous to try it also lol.  Thank you in advance!

      • Cheryl

Actually, I did what Jenny said on the Fiber One Brownies, got 4… got them for $8… BUT i tried to use the internet coupons and the store I went to, (the one on Central Avenue here in Charlotte)… the cashier wouldn’t let me use 3 internet coupons… the other stores here have never had a problem with that. So, it made the 4 boxes more expensive. The cashier threatented to call the manager so I just told him to let it go…. wish I’d have let him call… nobody was waitaing in line and plenty was on the shelf. I can find another place to shop if they are going to start reading the policy to me… and it is not the first time I have had “rude” customer service at that store.. but I can say it might be the last time I shop there.  Unfortunate.

        • KatieZooks

“I can find another place to shop if they are going to start reading the policy to me…”

They’d probably prefer that you find somewhere else to shop if you aren’t going to abide by their policies. The policy is two like internet printables. Doesn’t matter if other stores let you fudge on it, that’s still the policy. Period.

          • Mac

Is it 3 internet coupons per order/trip?

            • KatieZooks

From Teeter’s coupon policy found at

With the purchase of two like manufacturer’s products, we accept two internet coupons, per store, per day.

            • Lori

When they updated the policy a few months back, the store managers received a copy that said 3 IPs, while online it states 2IPs. Everyone has been debating which policy is correct. Therefore, some stores will accept 3, some 2. Personally, 2 makes since to me, since most coupons can be printed twice. Helps limit coupon fraud.

            • M&MsMommy

Its not that way unless they gave recently changed the policy.. when i went on Wednesday i had 12 coupons and 11 were printables and they took them. I know it there is a limit of 2 like internet coupons and then 1 internet coupon for 2 manufacturers coupons that are used for the same product.

            • KatieZooks

Here is what the coupon policy from Harris Teeter’s website says:

With the purchase of two like manufacturer’s products, we accept two internet coupons, per store, per day.

          • Mac

I was told today it was 3 internet coupons per order. So can I get 12 people to “Like” this!

        • The store off of Margaret Wallace (Wyalong?) store would have adjusted it for you.  I only go to Central Ave when I have already made sure my scenarios were going to work properly. There is a blond headed customer service rep that I can’t stand… *ugh* lol

          • Cheryl

Thanks Johanna! I always dread going to Central, even when it’s not a coupon deal. CS is lacking for sure. The only person with a smile on his face is the guy at the self-check outs… He is smiling when I walk in the store.. but the others..*UGH* is right!! The other stores are great. Love the coupon and the email alert deals!

          • katie

The blonde lady  is nasty – I try to go at night only – they are much nicer :-)

      • Herndonquad

mine would not double, they got a manager to come over and he would not override them. :(

      • Hulalani

aparently on those “extra deals” from GM you will only get the additional $1 or $2 off if you get the specific ones that are marked in the store with the white sale tag that lets you know there is extra savings there.  The manager told me to only chose those or I wouldn’t get the extra amount off.  and I was only using internet printed coupons, and had no issues.  The Managers at my HT are really nice.  Anytime I have a question I usually just ask one of them, the cashiers tend to be just as puzzled as me sometimes;)

      • MaryCanSave

The long barcode one wouldn’t scan for me.  They must know that this is a problem coupon because they had someone come over and override it and enter it as a $2 coupon.  I didn’t even ask, they did it on their own.

      • Donna

I used two tonight with no problems.  My HT is really new (less than 1 year) and the cashier I always use loves couponers.  As I hand her my coupons she puts all the ones with the long bar code to the side because she has to use the hand scanner on them.  She takes those off at the very end and I’ve never had an issue.

    • Dnaingbo

I’ve gotten (and used) $10 of $50 the past 2 weeks.  I knew I had it last week.  Didn’t realize they gave it to me again this week.

HT in High Point has sign at Smart Balance milk – that says they will not be doubling (as stated on coupon).  Still got it for $1.50 but would have been nice to have gotten it free.

    • Nerrad

This was a really great haul… lots of good stuff to stock my pantry and freezer!!
      2/Tabasco Sauce Asian Chili 1.93 –  50/1 = 1.84/2

      • Ephie78

can someone please tell me what is a ZQ? or a ZVR?

        • DianaY19

ZVR is what prints on your receipt when you use an e-coupon at HT.  It will show at the bottom ZVR cheerios $1 for example.  You load the coupons to your vic card from the email you get every week.

      • Kimissweet83

How did you find the evic $10 off $50?

        • Tippv2j

          recycle bank

        • Onethriftydiva

Not sure if it’s for only certain customers…but check the email that you get on Wednesday. At the very top of the email, it tells about the $10 off of $50 promo. You don’t have to add it to your card or anything, it just comes off if you qualify for it.

          • I didnt get it – and neither did anyone I know in Chesapeake, Va

        • Nerrad

Mine was in my Wednesday email.  I live in the Charlotte area (where HT is the market leader) and this is the first time I’ve gotten this special offer.  I think they may do it more for those customers served in those area where they are not the leading grocery chain.

      • luv2save

Where did you get the tobasco q from?  I noticed the asian sauce on clearance too but only had a q for buffalo flavor that I can find – thanks!

        • Nerrad

Check the Q database … I can’t remember exactly where but it was an internet Q

    • Klbarnes28

Is anyone else having rouble printing forom coupon network?

      • Klbarnes28

      • luv2save

I cannot print from smartsource on my Mac because the site doesn’t support the latest version of safari yet – I keep getting a message to install Java – which never works…

        • Guest

I’m on Mac with the latest version of everything, the OS and Safari,  and I have no problems printing from Smartsource. You need to check your setup. You need to make sure your Java is up to date independent of the smart source prompt telling you to install Java.

          • mt579

I’m on a Mac, and I can’t print red plum. Any suggestions?

        • Angelascoupons1

Same issues here.  I thought I had the java set up right…but still not working.  Let us know if you find out something else.

      • Bowtifan

YES – it has not printed for me for the last week!

    • Alohalani77

nothing by Johnsonville is on sale at my HT in Greensboro, NC. still nice to have a coupon, but not getting the deal I was looking for.  Nor any of the jimmy dean de-lights in the freezer, which makes also having to buy orange juice a “not such a great deal” to me.  are these items only on sale at certain locations?

      • Kristenbiggers

nothin by Johnsonville was on sale at my HT in CHarlottesville, VA either :(  But I still got a lot of amaing deals, thanks to Jenny!!!

    • luv2save

Has anyone seen the Duracell batteries on sale for 2.99?  I thought they were going to be on sale too, but maybe not.  They were not marked at the store I went to yesterday.

      • Tippv2j

I got them yesterday for 2.99 it is the 4 pack. They were on an end cap.

        • luv2save

Thanks I am going to scan them today then, they were marked as full price so I didn’t try yesterday

      • Harbinfamily

I think it is the Energizers that are on sale.

      • even if they aren’t mark, be sure to check with the cashier on the prices. I bought something yesterday and it did not reflect the right price at checkout, turned out it was a sale item.

        • Aman

If you go back to the customer service and tell them that the price didn’t match you will get one item free. This is part of HT price scan guarantee.

        • Aman

    • Sarah

Heads up with the Got2B coupon in Sundays paper ($3 off 1)… Walgreens has an unadvertised deal of buy1get1 (most items the regular prices is $5.99) until February 25 (at least in Asheville, NC they do). Got to love free.

      • Crystal

      • Sarahoconnor

I tried that deal and they wouldn’t let me use two coupons.  I was just about to look up their policy.

      • Twellwoman

They are BOGO at HT also.  Got mine for $0.39 this morning! :-)

    • Jlo2007fwc

the revelon eyeshadow, it says that its in the 1/15 ss, I have checked every smartsource of that date and I have failed to find it. Was wondering if the date was wrong.

    • Andrea

Yesterday at Harris Teeter, I parked my buggy to take my three year old into the restroom and set down my stack of coupons on my cart.  When I came out, someone had taken ALL my coupons!  Can you believe this?  It was 6:30 am too!  Come on people, stealing coupons??  I lost $33 worth of dbl coupons…took the excitement out of my morning for sure:(

      • Davina

I trust no one. I took my coupons into the restroom with me. It’s sad that you have to do that but some people are not honest.

        • Andrea

          it is sad.  lesson learned!

      • Kari

I have a 2 and 4 year old and it is hard but I always take my coupon binder in the rest room when we have to go. It is such a shame that we live in a world where you have to worry about some one stealing your coupons.

        • Andrea

I will do that from now on no matter what!

      • Amanda

What a terrible thing!  So sorry to hear that this happened.

      • Amber

Sorry to hear that Andrea. That is ridiculous!

      • JeninCarolina

How disappointing and utterly creepy. I’m so sorry this happened to you, Andrea!

    • Check the clearance section at your HT… I found some Vicks Nyquil reduced to 3.32 (w/ coupon made it 1.32!) plus they were putting out summer items from last year (told they were trying to clear out the warehouse) got some cool water bottles & grilling stuff for less than .50!

    • Shonna

I love this site!  I went to HT yesterday to take advantage of the super doubles, i expected to spend $41 and only spent $18!!!!! I bought the following: 4 bx of GM cereal, 2 bx of fruity pebbles, 2 pks of dole fruit cups, 3 Ragu sauces, 2 lunchable combo($1 off two q on boxes), 2 V8 splash juices, 1 welches juice,4 bx of fiber one bars, 4 packs of Pillsbury cookie dough,2 deer park water(did not double my q only gave me the price of one $1.25 off)!  My vic card had an additional $10 off $50, don’t know why but I gladly used it!

    • Guest

I just have to share because I’m excited about the 1st 3 deals. I wasn’t even going to go to SuperDoubles because I’m stocked but checked my coupon stash and rain checks and couldn’t pass up these deals since some of the coupons would have expired before next event. I think this shows it pays to get rain checks.

      5 packs Smithfield Bacon, raincheck B2G3, 2/$7 – 2/$1 mfg. dbled – $2 HT cpn = $1 for ALL 5

      4 Lysol wipes 35ct, raincheck B1G1,  $5.98 – 2($1/2) dbled = $1.98 or $.49 each

      4 Lysol toilet cleaner hanger 2 packs, raincheck B1G1, $7.18 – 2($1/2) dbled = $3.18 or $.79 each

6 Starkist Tuna Pouches, raincheck 10/$10, $6.00 – 3(.75/2) dbled = $1.50 or  $.25 each (not as good as when we had $1 cpns  and they were on sale for $1 but I had used them already during the prior sale)

1 Smart Balance spray (like PAM), I actually needed this as I ran out of PAM, $2.89 – .75 dbled = $1.39

1 Bounty roll, $2 – $1 cpm doled – .25 ZVR = .25 profit, I know they normally don’t give you a profit but I guess because it was a ZVR it did it. I checked and I got the $2 plus the .25

2 Lysol neutra air, $7.58 – 2/$1 = $3.58 or $1.79 each (so/so deal), someone mentioned they were on clearance in their HT but I didn’t find that in mine, just on a slight sale.

I was able to use my evic $10 off $50 since I purchased fresh cod, the cottonelle  evic deal, couple misc other items and
2 Smithfield Ham Steaks, raincheck for $2.99/lb normal price is $4.99/lb.

You need to check your receipts. The Starkist coupons which were on a tear pad in store did not automatically double so I had to go to customer service, they do not say “do not double” anywhere.

      • Jghunter1

I noticed several people mention a $10 off $50 coupon (some say gotten by e-mail). How do you get this? I’m an e-vic member…

        • Guest

It’s not a coupon. It was a notice in my Wed. weekly HT email the last 2 weeks. I guess they load it to your card automatically if you got the notice. The $10 came off automatically when I checked out. Apparently not everyone got the notice in their email. Some people last week got $15 off $75. You can always call your store and ask if your VIC card has it loaded. If not you can get the same deal via a coupon through recyclebank with 100 points however from recyclebank it takes about 2 weeks to get the coupon in the mail. The current recyclebank coupon is good until 4/3/12.

          • I ordered my recyclebank coupon last Tuesday and got it last night!  Very excited!

            • Guest

Wow, you ordered it on Tuesday and got it on Thursday? That’s really fast.

          • M-go

Hi, is the coupon good for $10 before coupons and sale items… or after? Like to I still have to total $50 at the very end to use it? :o)

            • Jmgregory_99

Mine came off before coupons.  With all the other coupons I had my total came to -.43¢.  I bought a candy bar just to get it above $0.00

        • Happy

I didn’t see the $10 off in my email from HT, but it automatically took it off at the end of my order….nice surprise.  My best trip so far this time, over $80 worth for $8.55 after tax.  :)

    • Mac

I had a good shopping trip today. I had 12 coupons. 9 were internet coupons that I printed at home. I made sure all my coupons were good so I wouldn’t get the “ding thing” at the register… didn’t work. 3 of the coupons dinged. The cashier, who was very nice and customer friendly called for an over-ride… then the “manager” or whoever that was that did the over-ride said it “dinged” because I used more than 3 internet coupons.  She said I could only use 3 internet coupons per order/trip. I told her I thought it was per item but she said it was per order…  have they changed the policy? Almost all my coupons I print at home off the links Jenny provides.  Oh well. Got some great deals.

      • Raynesmw

Not correct, I used 6 tonight w no problem. Take a copy of their policy w you, that might help.

      • Netnay

I always use more than 3 Internet coupons. Did u show them their policy on Internet coupons ?

      • Amber

It’s definitely 3 per ITEM, not transaction. How frustrating.

    • Samantha

Hello! Can somneone tell me if you can use a Harris Teeter Catalina that states “Manufacturers Coupon” on the top of it along with a regular Manufacturers Coupon? I know that the catalina will not double, just wondering if it is actually considered a store coupon or a manufacturers coupon since it says “REDEEM AT HARRIS TEETER” on it. Thanks a lot!

      • Nitaroyal

No, since they are both manufacturer coupons

      • Sammi90

the catalina should double if it’s a MQ.  at least it has been my experience that they do.  can’t use both together though.  you don’t have to use those catalina MQs at the store printed on the Q.  although i have been told there might be some stores that will refuse them.

    • Netnay

Wanted to add this in. For the ones who have the .50 cents off any green works product, the chlorine free bleach was on clearance at Harris teeter in Aberdeen nc for $1.47. So with the coupon makes it only .47 cents!!!

      • Bowtifan

Register at Green Works website and get $1 coupon – makes it free.

    • SPag823

I had a problem today using GM cereal coupons that I printed online.  I had numerous good internet coupons and none of them would scan so they told me that if the internet coupons do not scan I cannot use them.  Has anyone else had this problem at HT lately???  I think they are cracking down on coupon use since all the coupon hype on TV.

      •  yep! mine does the same thing.  :(

      • Amber

The coupons with the new barcode rarely scan… my HT will get a manager and they will manually enter them in. I’d check with management. Just because it won’t scan, does not mean it’s not legit!

    • Candlequeen81

Harris Teeter is still running the Pampers promotion, so Super Doubles makes it a great time to stock up especially with the $1.50 PG coupon.  Spend $50 on Pampers and get a $15 credit on your VIC card.  In the end 5 packs of diapers will cost $4 each! (13 cents per diaper depending on the size)

    • Did anyone’s HT have the Hormel Pepperoni Sticks on sale? Mine were full price.  Boo.

      • Kenandjen

It’s the Hormel Snack packages that are BOGO, the ones that are unrefrigerated and have the meat/cheese combos.  Those are free after the coupon is doubled.  You have to get 2 per coupon.

    • RioChick

Has anyone tried to use the evic coupon for MultiGrain cheerios on the new Multi Grain Peanut Butter version?  Thanks!

      • JeninCarolina

I purchased the PB version a week or so ago after I had the regular multigrain evic loaded to my account. It did not come off. As I remember, the pic shows only the regular multigrain version.

    • Lynn

Can anyone help me with the Smithfield Bacon coupon.  I see the coupon database has SS 1/29 but I don’t know what that means.

      • Jmgregory_99

It was in the SmartSource coupon insert on Jan 29.

        • JeninCarolina

Would someone mind sharing where it is located in the 1/29 SS?  I can’t find it, but don’t know if I’m just missing the tree for the forest, or perhaps it didn’t come in my addition. Thanks!

          • Guest

It was towards the front in mine, after the totinos pizza, after dollar general ad. It had the Smithfield bacon on one side and the Marzetti dressing on the other side.

            • JeninCarolina

Got it–thanks a bunch for the assist!

    • Jmgregory_99

Came across a good meal deal at HT with all printable coupons, at least as of this morning.  Mrs. Paul’s 10ct. fish, McCains Purely Potatoes, Birdseye Steamfresh Veggies and Uncle Ben’s Rice all for about $4.00 after coupons.  The rice and veggies you have to buy more than one to use the coupon.

    • Burns2fly

I had a great trip to HT today. I got $76 worth for only $18.66! I didn’t get everything I wanted but thats ok. Also made quick trip to WG and BiLo. All together, I got about $130 worth for $42. Not bad. Have a great weekend.

    • snowdogmom

Good trip today for a few items.

      2 Honey Nut Cheerios – 2/$5.00
      2 Honey Nut Chex –  evic for $1.97 limit 2  2/$1.97=$3.94
      Used 2($1/2) int. coupons = -$4.00
      – $2 off from promotion buy 4 GM cereals get $2 off
      – .75 ZVR Hny Nut Chex
      – .50 ZVR Hny Hut Cheerios

      Total $1.69 for 4 boxes or $.42 a box

      10 Yoplait Yogurts – evic 10/$5 – $1/8 int cpn dbled – .40 zvr = $2.60 or $.26 each

      2 Mrs. Pauls Parchment fillets – $5.69 – 2($1) int. cpn dbled = $1.69 or $.84 each

Used $2 of order from Cottonelle purchase earlier in week

$30.20 in coupons and vic savings
      total oop $4.11 incl. tax

Also had an evic for eat, think, smile nutrition bars $.77 each limit 4 and had 2 $1 coupons but my store was sold out. Oh well can’t get every deal I thought I would try them since they would be free. I did get a raincheck, they get a truck tonight so maybe they will restock before SDs are over.

When I went to get the raincheck they brought out a binder where they have all the Friday evic offers it’s interesting to see all the offers as compared to the ones I got in my email. There was one I noticed for Smithfield bacon for $2.97 or $2.47 can’t remember which now, there was an offer on eggs and I didn’t get either of those. What I found interesting is I didn’t get some evics for things I buy often and I did get evics for things I never buy. I keep getting bottled water evics and I rarely buy bottled water.  I thought what you received was based on your buying habits but I’m not sure that’s the case based on what I saw were offers this week.

      • pamgam

I thought that you get what your buying habits are but I had evic for cat and dog food and coffee.  I don’t  have a cat or dog and never purchase cat food or dog food or coffee.  It seems very random although corporate claims it is based on your buying habits.

      • Twellwoman

I wish I had that Evic for the Eat, Think, Smile bars!  The HT in Wake Forest has had them stocked, so I just got the one for free.  Would’ve gotten more at your price though!

    • Tnegri

I went to the HT in Davidson NC with my boyfriend. When I was done checking out it was his turn…with his coupons…te cashier called the manager…she went on to inform me that we couldn’t proceed…she wouldn’t let him use HIS Vic card or anymore coupons because we were “together” hence same household. I tried to politely explain that we were separate..with separate cards and coupons. She wouldn’t budge….she told me he could purchase the groceries but without any coupons or VIC card applied. We walked out….this isn’t the first time I’ve had trouble there..but it’s the last. Just wanted y’all to know!!!

      • pamgam

I am sorry that you had trouble.  I would call corporate to let them know how you were treated.

      • Mtmkjr

Do you and your bf live at the same address?
If so, VIC cards are limited to one per household, and they were following policy.
If not, then they should not have done that.

      • Robin Caylor

        You go girlfriend!

      • Guest

You should have gone to the manager. They should’ve scanned his card and rang up his groceries… and let him try his coupons…. if it wouldn’t take his coupons, then it’s time to leave, and not before.

      • karp38

Should the store allow a customer to shop, use the coupons at face value?  if it’s “the same household” – I shop at two different stores and each one applies that rule differently.

        • criss

some stores will take six coupons on a rain check – doubling 3 and taking face value for the other 3; the other store will only take 3 coupons

      • Jlaleonard

You need to report them to corporate!!

      • Amyb

It sure doesn’t seem like good customer relations to tell someone they can’t shop there. His VIC card should have been scanned and his order processed. If they are the same household, then his coupons would not have doubled if you already doubled 20 for your household. You can use as many coupons as you like. It’s just that only 20 will double.

    • Cheryl

I did a quick trip this evening and got 3 Pkgs of the New Keebler Dark Chocolate Stripe cookies, 2 bags Crunch Master crackers, 1 Colgate toothpaste, 3 Balance Bars, 2 Think Thin bars, and 4 Tuna Helpers… $5.40 OOP… good deal!

    • Cheryl

The Hamburger Helper is really a “giveaway”… $5 for 4 boxes, less the $1, less (2) .80 zqs, less a $1 mq that doubles… makes it 10 cents a box! Even if you don’t need it, buy it and give it to somebody that does!

    • luv2shop

For today’s Saturday e-Vic special of Deer Park water, be on the lookout for coupons on the sides of the packs.  Mine had $1 off when you buy 2 which doubled so I got the water for $1.77 for a 24 pack.  I went to the HT on Highhouse and Davis in Cary, NC.

    • karen

      Thanks Jennye

    • karen

      Great job

    • Lowes91

Went tonight and got 2 boxes of cocoa pebbles for free..on sale 2/4.00 used 2-  1.00qs made them FREE..I love FREE!

      • Dha9200

Question, did u use the cocoa pebbles coupon that is for the giant size?

      • Brooke

awesome! where was this coupon? The only one I have is for the giant sized cocoa pebbles!

      • tgirl

         thanks for the post.

    • Annadgali

Yesterday I got 3 boxes of HN Cheerios and 1 box CT crunch for 2.50 ea, With the General mills promotion, (2)1/2 Q and evics for HN Cheerios and CT Crunch, I ended up paying .75cents for each. Just in time, when I needed them. Thanks Jenny.

    • skstaylor

I’m new to couponing and just wanted to say thank you for posting these deals! I got married 2 months ago and have been trying to save money on the grocery bill. Yesterday we saved over $60 at harris teeter! I was so excited!

      • M-go

I got married 3 months ago myself.  I have been trying to save on groceries and make healthy dinners. This was def a great week for coupons! I know how you feel! :o)

    • couponer**

Question:  If there is two ZVRs for the same product saved on my shopping card, will both come off when I buy one of the product?  I’m not sure why, but I have two of a few of the same items showing up on my ZVRs.

      • Mtmkjr

Yes, they will both come off.  :)

        • couponer**

          THANK YOU!!

    • tryn2sav

Just came from HT and my printable coupon wouldn’t scan. They told me if my coupon wouldn’t scan they can’t take it. Ughh! I lost out on the tuna fish. They always used to put my coupons through before. I wonder what happened.

    • Tina

I’m having trouble finding the Al Fresco coupon on their site.  Anybody found it?
