Learning Patience

I know there are some things that I will not master until the day I die and patience is one of them.  Getting into the world of web hosting and network sort of things has tested my patience levels a lot lately…  more than the three little people I spend all my waking moments with… I’m learning though.

If you sent an email today odds are I did not get it.  If you tried to access the site then you know why.  We have been down most of the day and it was a stump the IT guy problem to get it back up.

If you felt helpless or frustrated needing your new Kroger deals or other store deals the best tip I can give you is to start using a feed reader like google or one of the many others.  You can follow or “Subscribe” to Southern Savers and if we ever go down again you will have your grocery list all safe and sound in your reader. (These are all free).

I am blessed to be married to a network engineer who is figuring out a way for us to never go down.  He just has to figure out how to make it inexpensive.

;) Tried to email you around 6:30 this morning to let you know the site was down in case you didn’t know ;) I usually have my coffee and read updates on here ;) I guess it wasn’t all bad, I only had one cup of coffee this morning then started cleaning instead of playing with coupons ;) lol

    • Good to see you back on!

    • Katie

Jenny – really don’t stress – we all appreciate what you do.. i just found this website last week and i love it – coming onto it at least once a day to see what new info there is. i used to consider myself good with coupons religiously buying the sunday paper and cutting coupons for what i use and matching up to the weekly adds. with all that i was still missing great deals and your website showed me how i could do more.

      so THANK YOU!!!! :)

    • Ashley

I was worried when the site didn’t come up. But I’m much happier now!! This website is wonderful, and it helps me save a LOT of money. I’ve also showed my Mom how she can use the coupon deal ideas. Not sure where you would want to note this, but when BJs/Sams/Costco sends out coupons, you can save a lot when you combine other coupons. My last visit I saved $35. :) Thank you for all that you do!

    • Lisa

I missed you. Glad you are back. NO worries about getting the lists up immediately- we have our stockpiles ;)

    • Kabba

Dont know how you do it but thanks for all that you do! God Bless!

I wasn’t worried about what I was missing today, I was worrying that I might never get to see any deals ever again! So glad the glitch was temporary! I love this site and you are so wonderful to keep it going! And AMEN to being married to an IT guy! I don’t know what I’d do without him!

    • Kristin

I knew you’d be back! Sometimes we all need a reminder to have more patience in this everything “now” world we live in.

    • Shannon in ATL

TAHNK GOODNESS YOU ARE BACK!!! I thought my company blocked you and we were all lost at the office today!

    • Lisa

I am so glad that you are back also. I thought something happened to my computer.

    • Jenn

Hello Jenny! I am so glad that you are back up and running!! My DH is an IT guy, and I am so thankful for him, and I know that you are for yours!!!

    • Kellie

Thanks Jenny for what you do, and to everyone else for contributing! While I truly appreciate all of you for your searching and sharing, I was pleasantly surprised today to find that with the lack of help, I was able to compile my own list of deals with the coupons I had and do a pretty good job! Thanks for showing me how to do this so I can do it myself too – it’s a great skill to have.

    • Helen

I am sorry you are having technical difficulties, I will pray this is just a small test of patience and that it all gets cheaply tweaked into order.

Thank you for your hard work and your patience with us!

    • Kristin

I wondered if something was going on, actually I have you on my google reader and every time I clicked your feed it locked up my whole internet explorer and I had to close out. So glad you’re back up and running!
