And if you don’t need a back pack consider taking advantage of this deal and donating it to a school in your area for a kid in need! At my school we use backpacks to discreetly send food home with some children over the weekend. We always need more backpacks!

In store only? Or online also?

Office Max rewards program saddens me. I have never received any rewards. I was told it was because I had not spent $500 in the year. At staples I get rewards all the time. :( I don’t get it.

      • Kendra Wiegand

I have always had success rolling my rewards…..sorry to hear it hasn’t worked for you. Are you purchasing the correct items? The ones with Rewards? The 5% back is for the $500 purchase. The offers with 100% back do not have a minimum. Hope that helps…..just a thought.

      • Riggers

Bonus rewards events like this should show up no matter if you spend $500 or not. The 5% reward does not show up until you spend $500 and it will be $25. My bonus rewards always show up on my maxperks account within a week or so…. I would call and make them correct it.

I’ve gotten these for the past few years – the Ful bookbag brand & they are really really nice. They hold up really good & I highly recommend them. They are worth every penny even if you paid full price. :)

I am confused, in the ad it says OGIO Backpacks on my local ad but then it has a picture of a Reebok backpack? Is it only OGIO?

I got 2 of these last year and it’s the only bags that has lasted all of the school year for my kids. My son’s ripped along the seam the last week of school.
Also remember if you don’t use your rewards by the end of the year you loose them. I lost $20 last year because I forgot about them.

My grandson starts high school this year at Ronald Wilson Reagan HS. My daughter has been told that HS kids are no longer using backpacks. Can someone with children in HS tell me if this is correct?

      • gingerinCA

At my kids school (elementary,) what they use varies from grade to grade. For example, due to space constraints, the second graders are ONLY ALLOWED to carry messenger bags, no backpacks. Would imagine it depends on the school and the kid. Probably best to check with the school.

I would recommend these bags to anyone. They are SO well-made. My son has been using the same office max backpack for 2 or 3 years now, while daughter has thrashed 3 or 4 different “character” backpacks to the point of unusability. Including one that lasted only a week before ripping out!
These things are sturdy. I will be buying the limit of two, just because a nice well-made backpack comes in handy to have around. Would be a good emergency supply bag, good for bringing stuff if you ride a bike, good bug out bag, for those inclined to have one…

Jenny, is there any way for us to view which backpacks will be in the deal prior to 7/28? We are leaving for 1-week camping up in the mountains (no internet or phone) early sunday morning, so I have to try to order ASAP before we leave. Want to be ready with our selections so we can get on the road. Been waiting for this deal to turn up again ALLLLLLL year, so of course it would be now. :)

How does this work? I’m new to maxperks. Essentially the credit in maxperks is equall to the backpack? So if the backpack is $39, I pay $39 at checkout but then $39 goes on my maxperks card?

      • Janice

For 100% Reward items, you will get the full price back. You do have to wait until the end of the quarter to receive your credit. Then the credit is good for 90 days. The great thing about Office Max is that you can use your reward credit to buy more Reward items and receive credit…effectively “rolling” your rewards without spending your own money!!

Is this deal only valid in store, or can it be used on line too?
