Mother’s Day is coming up, and while it seems like culturally we do a lot to remember our own moms and mother-in-laws, sometimes the moms who still have kids at home get the short end of the stick. These moms are still in the trenches and can certainly use encouragement! In thinking about what I need most as a mom with kids who still live in my house, it’s really just encouragement that I’m doing what God has called me to do. I like books that tell it like it is, and this book does not pretend like being a mom isn’t hard! Yet it also offers hope and encouragement.
