It’s okay if you don’t feel like you’re very handy around the house, some projects are actually a lot easier than you would think. Most of these fixes can be done by anyone in less than a day and with a bit of effort!
Sometimes you will have to call in a professional, but give yourself a chance and you could end up saving some serious cash!
Common Household Fixes:
Blocked Drain
Sometimes a blocked drain can be as simple as using the right plunger to remove the clog. In tougher cases, try adding a about a cup of dish detergent and letting it sit. That should loosen up the blockage and allow your plunger to work. Still clogged? Follow these steps to remove the p-trap and manually remove the clog. Way cheaper than calling a plumber!
Patch Drywall
A hole in the wall can be frustrating and also intimidating! But don’t fear, you can definitely fix it yourself. Head here to follow these steps and you’ll have your wall as good as new again!
HVAC Maintenance

Our much loved sweet lab Major became paralyzed over the weekend and tonight he is on his way to the University of Georgia Vet Hospital to see what can be done for him.
My amazing husband is making the trip and I’m a tiny bit of a basket case. Major is fully “my” dog. He follows me everywhere and spends a chunk of his day lying under my desk (when I sneak him inside). So in the effort to not cry on live video… it’s best that we cancel for tonight.
