Publix Vanilla Wafers, 12 oz box
You can get the Publix Penny item with any purchase that is $10 or more before coupons. Most stores will require the penny item coupon found somewhere in your Wednesday or Thursday paper.
The Penny Item is for one day only, and will be the day that the ad starts in your area. This is Wednesday for all of SC and AL, and parts of GA, or Thursday for Northern GA.
Get all of this weeks Publix Deals and Coupon Matches!
**Note: FL and some Coastal GA stores DO NOT participate in the Penny Item**
This week’s Cross Country Cafe is offering some great Fall beverage items! I know for some folks K-cups seem way to expensive and compared to traditional brew they are pricey. But… compared to paying for one cup of coffee every day at the coffee shop… this is a frugal option!
The biggest reason to me in going with a kcup brewer was that my husband was the only coffee drinker. Why brew a pot of coffee for one person??
This weeks Kcup Deals:
Green Mountain Our Blend, 24 ct., $11.99 (49¢ ea.)
Twinings Pure Camomile Tea, 24 ct., $9.99 (41¢ ea.)
The Green Mountain blend is a traditional medium roast that is mild, smooth and aromatic with a thick body that will appeal to the masses. Meanwhile, the Camomile tea is known for it’s nice relaxing properties and perfect for a cool Fall day.
This sale is available through October 8th.
If you are curious how this compares to grocery store deals, most grocery store boxes are 10-12 ct. and the average price for those is around $6 (see all the current k-cup deals). So in the end these really are the better deal. Each week Cross Country puts a new flavor on sale, so if these aren’t your favorites try waiting for something you love and then stock up!

A year ago the Dollar Tree started taking coupons. For a while it was a massive headache to use coupons there, but many are reporting that the bugs are gone and employees are doing better with understanding things. I thought it was about time to give them another shot at being a weekly store on Southern Savers.
Tip: Every store carries different items. Don’t spend hours searching for items, if you don’t see something just move on. If you see something that I don’t have here I’d love for you to send it to me and I’ll add it to the list. Either leave a comment or email me at jenny@southernsavers.com.
If you’re not super familiar with shopping at the Dollar Tree here’s their coupon policy.
