If you want to look at Gap, check out the clearance section too. I love this dress, sadly they don’t have any more in my size. But $12.34 is an awesome price!!

Yesterday marked the first official day of Fall and that means my Fall craft projects are in full swing. There are several projects that I hope to complete, but whether it’s painting, sewing, or a new picture framed for the foyer, there are several craft store coupons available to help me complete my crafts without breaking the budget.
Keep in mind most craft stores accept competitor coupons. Often there’s a limit of one per customer, so if you need more than one item take a friend or spouse with you.

Back to school season is here in full swing and our family is feeling it in the mornings. Even though we are a homeschooling family, we still have the rush to get the day started. No kid want’s to still be doing work at 5 pm… my goal is not be rushed in the mornings, but sadly it happens more often than not.
Hungry Jack is making it their mission to help bring family breakfasts back again. Their food is quick and easy to prepare and our family loves it! Hungry Jack sent me some things to help us get started on our our mission to“Bring Back Breakfast” this weekend. With Hungry Jack, simplicity goes a long way! I love their food so much that it doesn’t take much to make breakfast special. This morning I made Belgian waffles using their mix (you only have to add water), sprinkled it with powdered sugar and drizzled chocolate syrup. It was a hit!
Writing this post made me think about how we can all bring back breakfast again and I have three tips.
1. It’s not about the dishes – my biggest hindrance with breakfast is not wanting to start the day with a sink full of dishes. In the end, time with my girls is more important than dishes any day. They will never remember whether our sink was always clean or dirty, but they will remember that every Saturday we made pancakes or waffles.
2. Get the kids involved. Assign who your sou chef is will give you accountability to make breakfast happen. They love to help and will not let you forget to fix a real meal! Let them measure and stir and they feel like they made breakfast happen. The kitchen helper for the day also has clean up duty, which helps mom out!
3. Paper Plates. That’s really my tip for any mama who is overwhelmed. It may not save the rain forests, but it does save your sanity. Paper plates are a gift from God and can be used for any meal. I’m not even afraid to use them with guests. As women we need to be more real with each other, show them your laundry pile and your year supply of paper plates! We need to all realize that life looks just as messy and busy in other houses.
