After posting last week that we still hadn’t been out, I decided it was time for mom to have some alone time. I went out for a Friday night shopping trip all by myself and enjoyed every minute. It actually wore me slap out, but that’s the joy of being at Publix where they handle all the grocery unloading for me!

I didn’t really want to spend this much, but I confess that being a little tired and frazzled before going out that I may have gotten a few favorite foods like ice cream sandwiches. I grabbed some other items off sale items too, so please don’t think I went $30 over budget on ice cream alone.
I also ran to CVS to test out this deal. I’m excited to have a date night out that cost $3!

Thanksgiving is coming up and that means we need to start looking for deals on turkey and ham. Target has a coupon for $10 off Archer Farms Holiday Dinner for 8 Turkey or Ham.
This coupon expires 11/22, so you have some time to use it, but I suggest printing it off soon if you plan on using it.
If Publix offers a Thanskgiving meal deal, you may be able to use this at Publix if Target is considered a competitor.
