Our girls aren’t really into video games at their age, but I know many of your kiddos have them at the top of their wishlist.  There are lots of new games coming out soon and it can pay to get them ordered in advance.

Preorder 3 top selling games from Walmart for a bundled price of $175, and you’ll get a $50 eGift card back! That makes each video game $41.70 instead of the retail price of $59.96.

Choose from games like Batman: Arkham City, Assassins Creed: Revelations, and Battlefield 3 for PlayStation3 or XBox 360.  There are 9 games in all to pick from.

You can also go through Ebates for 2% cashback or 4% from Shop at Home.

One idea would be to go in with a friend or family member and split the cost 3 ways if you only want one game!

        September Coupons

We really enjoyed September with the start of cooler weather, but I can’t believe we are already heading into the holiday season!

With the end of the month upon us, it’s time to print any remaining coupons you might need and get your shopping in today if possible.

        Coupons

The three major coupon printing sites will all reset their coupons late tonight/early tomorrow morning.  What does this mean?  That today you want to print coupons you will use.  Two things can happen to your beloved coupon, first it could come down and no longer be there to print tomorrow.  Or the second more preferred option (though we won’t know until tomorrow if this happens) is that the print limit is reset, meaning you print two today and come tomorrow morning you get to print two more!

The main sites to peruse today in preparation:

        Coupons.com

        SmartSource

        CouponNetwork

        Shopping

Get your shopping in before September’s coupons expire…. there are 593 of them that are only good today.

During the entire month of October Sur La Table is offering to professionally sharpen 2 kitchen knives for FREE! Most cooks will tell you that sharp blades are the key to preventing injuries in the kitchen and it also saves prep time if they slide right through your veggies.

My husband regularly sharpens our knives at home, but having it done professionally once a year is a good idea (and why not if it’s FREE!)

Don’t miss out on this “sharp” deal! Find a Sur La Table location near you.
