I’m excited to share it’s official that Harris Teeter has finally joined the land of common sense and updated their coupon policy for coupons accepted on Buy One Get One deals.
Before this week, Harris Teeter was the only store in the South East that would only allow one coupon on a buy one get one deal. Logically that made no sense since the items rang up at half price. If you were buying 2 items that were B1G1, you could separate your order into two transactions and use two coupons, but had to use only one coupon if you bought the deal together.
Well, you may now use one coupon per item purchased! No matter the sale.
One thing to note: I would still expect to only get to use 2 coupons on a Buy 2, Get 3 Free Deal. While they are coming up in the world, I doubt they can come that far…
Check out their official coupon policy for more information.
Many of you have reported this and I have confirmed it with corporate.

Starting today, Coinstar is kicking off a nationwide promotion to help you turn loose change into cash, free coupons and big deals. Right now you can pour in $5 or more into any participating Coinstar machine and select to get your cash back in a Borders e-certificate for no fee!! PLUS you also get a coupon for $5 off your next $25 purchase at Borders!
We love Coinstar Counting Machines and always get our change turned into gift cards rather than cash (it avoids any fee). If you haven’t tried this yet and have small kids they will love it!!! The machine is fun all by itself, and then they see that saving up all the nickles and quarters they find can turn into something really fun.
I want to encourage you to turn this into a summer reading challenge. Encourage your kids to gather up all their loose change then get your gift card to Borders and a coupon. Now let them get stocked up on amazing books to enjoy all summer!
I bet between the cushions of your couch and the floorboards of your card you can easily find $5 in spare change…
To help you get started how about a chance to win??

Earlier this year I was chosen as a Brand Ambassador for Aveeno, it’s really just a fun title for me. For you guys though it means that I get to bring you fun giveaways on awesome products!!
We discovered Aveeno products when our twins were born and quickly started breaking out in rashes if I used any cheap soaps or lotions. I went searching for natural products that didn’t have chemicals they were allergic too, and quickly found that anything Aveeno was fine for their skin.
Since then we have begun using all Aveeno for bath and skin care for them, and now all Aveeno for sun care too! (They also get rashes if we use any cheap sunscreens).
Since becoming an ambassador I have also started using all of their products. I knew I would love them, it just took trying them.
Now’s your chance to try them!!
(2) Readers will win a huge Aveeno Prize Pack including:
Aveeno Positively Ageless Complete Starter Regimen
Exfoliating Cleanser
Lifting & Firming Eye Cream
Daily Moisturizer with SPF 30
Lifting & Firming Night Cream
Each product contains a Natural Shiitake Complex, shown to provide anti-oxidant activity to help defend against free radicals that can damage the skin. In a clinical study, when women used the kit as directed, 100% of them showed improvement in their skin in as little as 1 week.
Aveeno Baby Eczema Therapy Line
Moisturizing Cream
Moisturizing Wash
Aveeno Baby Eczema Therapy Moisturizing Cream and Aveeno Baby Cleansing Therapy Moisturizing Wash have been shown to improve the quality of life for babies with eczema and have been awarded the National Eczema Association Seal of Acceptance. In a clinical study, over 90% of babies showed improvement in multiple symptoms of eczema (roughness, dryness, itchiness, or scaling) when used daily.
To Win a Prize Pack:
Leave a comment below with one Aveeno product you would love to try or already love.
Winners will be chosen Monday 5/16.
This giveaway is sponsored by Aveeno, I received products to try, but all opinions above are 100% my own.

Here is a very timely deal: Murphy USA gas stations are offering $2 off a $20 gas purchase when you check-in with Foursquare.
Foursquare is a social-networking website that allows you to “check-in” at geographical locations for points and badges. Check it out yourself!
To make this deal even better, they are throwing in a free pack of Stride Winterblue Gum as well!
(thanks Heather!)
Looking for a new printer? Are you frustrated with the amount of money you spend on ink and toner? Check out HP’s new Photosmart Premium C310 Printer!
This printer comes with easy instructions for set-up. While it may be slightly time-consuming, the printer basically installs itself for you. So no worries if you are not the most tech savvy person.
One of my favorite features of this printer is that printing is wireless (with no extra equipment needed). I don’t have to be hooked up to the printer and I can be anywhere in the house. Better yet, I can print from multiple computers without having to worry about switching around the cord and being next to the printer. It also caters to solving one of my own personal pet peeve – I hate to have cords all around me and at my feet. With this printer, no cord is needed!
Printing photos from this printer has reached a new level of ease, too! You can put your photo paper in a completely different tray. Also, there is a slider to make sure that your photo paper is squared in the printer, no matter what size it is. Both of these things help your photos print much more smoothly!
I confess I am not a big at home photo printer, so I had to put it to test on coupons too. It did great as I expected, but was also fast and with crisp lines (two very important features for us crazy coupon printing mama’s).
It only gets better…HP ink is very affordable and right now you can get $15 off a $75 purchase from HP.com with code 15SAVINGS plus ink qualifies for FREE next day delivery! I found the black ink cartridge for this printer for $18 and that was XL version that prints 2X more pages.
Win It!
One winner will receive an HP Photosmart Premium Printer (a $199 value).
How to Win It:
Leave a comment with one way you save on ink, or one feature you need in a printer.
The winner will be contacted Friday 5/13.
I received a printer to review from HP and Savings.com, but all opinions above are still 100% my own.
