With the holiday’s fast approaching it’s time to start thinking about saving with online shopping. One big way to save is to figure out how to reduce shipping costs! There is a great company called ShopRunner.com, that offers FREE 2 day shipping at over 70 different online retailers.
It seems like a dream world to imagine all your favorite stores got together and offered you unlimited FREE 2 day shipping-with no minimum purchase requirement. It’s real though! ShopRunner also compiles special offers, member-only deals, coupons and more!
Even more cool… they offer FREE return shipping too!!
You can try Shoprunner out for 30 days for free, and then if you like it pay $6.58 a month. If you think about it, this cost is worth it even if you buy shipping for about 2 items a month. On top of the shipping, you receive tons of exclusive deals. With Christmas approaching, this seems like one of the smartest ways to buy gifts for your loved ones.
On a personal note, we have had a membership for a while now and it has helped me snag deals that I never would have gotten locally on Toys R Us and Babies R Us, like $5 Huggies diapers and more!
One deal I found:
Get 25% off clearance kids shoes at Olly.com. They have a ton of shoes marked down to $9.99, so after the exclusive code you get shoes for $7.49 with FREE shipping!!
Note: You will need to enter your credit card information to get the trial membership, but you can cancel at any time. If you want to keep the membership, don’t do anything and it will just charge you monthly or anually.
The Giveaway:
ShopRunner is giving away a $50 gift card to three Southern Savers readers. You get to pick what gift card you want from any Shoprunner merchant!
To Enter:
Leave a comment below telling me which Shoprunner participating store you would want the $50 gift card to!
Winners will be notified Friday, 10/14 by 5 pm.
You guys are awesome at emailing in deals! Here’s everything that folks have found recently, hopefully you can find the same deal in your area. Make sure you also check out each stores full list of deals by click on the store name at the top of Southern Savers.

Tired of always having to buy new batteries when they run out of juice? Well Graveyard Mall is offering a deal on Juice Rechargeable batteries. You get 20 Alkaline batteries (16 AA and 4 AAA) and 2 refresh chargers for $9.99. Shipping is $6.99 making this $16.98 total.
Batteries come fully charged and are ready to use as soon as you open the package (we actually tested that this morning replacing another set of batteries in a battery draining toy). You also don’t have to wait until the batteries are completely dead to recharge them since they don’t have a memory effect like some rechargeable batteries.
Juice Rechargeable batteries can be recharged up to 100 times and they are Mercury and Cadmium free.
Reading reviews it does sound like they are going to better for low energy needs like remotes etc. rather than cameras, but it could still be a good way to cut down on battery needs.
Update: Many are getting charged even though the total says $0.00. Try to checkout with no payment option entered.
