I wanted to give you a heads up that we have a fun week coming up! Starting Monday we’ll have a series of giveaways that make awesome gifts for Dad.
Since giveaways don’t really stop all the grocery and coupon deals, you’ll want to make sure you are following on Southern Savers on Facebook, Twitter or by email. This way you won’t miss anything even if it gets buried under the deals! (Following also gets you extra entries to win all the giveaways, so now you’ll be ready.)
While I can’t share all the details of the giveaways yet, I can let you know our Platinum Sponsor for the Father’s Day Bash is ZeroWater. We will be giving away prizes valued at over $200. To enter just look for each post and leave a comment! Check back on Monday to start entering!
Plus join us Wednesday night at 9 pm on Twitter for more chances to win! Follow along on hashtag #wingiveaways.
You will also have multiple opportunities to win these giveaways on the other participating Win Giveaways Blogs:
You can follow Win Giveaways on Facebook to keep up with the Father’s Day Giveaways and more!
I am in Father’s day present mode lately, here are two things I spotted on Tanga tonight. They are only good for the next 24 hours:
Get a year subscription to Discover Magazine for $4.99 when you use the coupon code DISCOVER during checkout. For the more scientifically inclined, this could be a great present.
A Universal Multi USB Charger Cable with AC and Car Charger for only $5.99 + $3.99 shipping. Basically this allows you to charge your phone, iPod, tablet, and more any where you go! We just got one of these and paid $25 so this is an awesome deal!
You can get (2) for the same shipping price.
World Blood Donor Day is coming up on June 14th, and Nexcare has decided to give away some limited edition and rather fashionable Give Bandages to everyone who pledges to give blood.
The more friends you get to support your pledge, the cooler the version of Give Bandages you will receive!
I know this isn’t a very wowing freebie, but giving blood is a very needed and worthwhile cause. So jump in there get over the fear of the needle and do it!
(The registered nurse in me feels the need to add “it only hurts for a second”… they teach us to say that in nursing school)
Here are some sweet Disney Movie Rewards to finish out your week.
Get a printable coupon for $5 off the Blu-ray combo packs of Tinker Bell, Tinker Bell and the Lost Treasure, or Tinker Bell and the Great Fairy Rescue.
While you are hanging out on the Disney Movie Rewards page, enter a few codes to earn Disney Movie Rewards:
Believe for 10 new points
Enter the Cars 2 Sweepstakes for 50 points
Here are the latest coupons from Cooking with Kraft. My favorite is the B1G1 Cooking Creme!
These state retailer coupon at the top, however the begin with a 5 and state in the fine print “valid in the USA, FPO’s and APO’s” so that does mean that your store will be reimbursed if used in another store. Doesn’t mean your store will take it… but if they do it’s legitimate to use there.
The Coupons
B1G1 Kraft Philadelphia Cooking Creme, max $2.99 printable
.75/1 Kraft Philadelphia Cooking Creme printable
$1 off Publix bread wyb Kraft Natural Slices or Cracker Barrel printable
$1 off Publix bread wyb Kraft Velveeta Slices, 12 oz printable
$1 off Publix fresh produce wyb Kraft Deli Deluxe process cheese slices printable
Well, I didn’t realize there was such thing as National Doughnut Day – but I will take it! On June 3rd (tomorrow), we are celebrating the day with some free doughnuts.
LaMar’s Doughnuts – FREE gourmet doughnut with a hole.
Krispy Kreme – FREE doughnut of your choice.
Dunkin Donuts – FREE donut with purchase of a beverage (excluding cooler beverages)
Winn Dixie – FREE Doughnut Jumbo Hole
Call ahead to your location to make sure they are participating.
This one is right up my husband’s alley and might be a fun way to spend some time as a family this summer (while getting away from the tv!).
From June 4 – July 10, Bass Pro Shops is offering Free Family Activities on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2-6 pm or Saturdays and Sundays from Noon-4 pm. These activities include free shooting ranges, casting targets, s’mores cookouts, free crafts and workshops!
Check out your location to see which activities your local Bass Pro Shops is offering and head on over for some fun.
This starts this coming weekend!!
There is a fun Groupon National Deal tonight!!
Get $20 to spend at Old Navy for only $10. This is valid at any store nationwide. You will find the deal under most major cities today. If it’s not in your area though it’s still good to use no matter where you are. Just pick another city and grab the groupon.
If you have never purchased a groupon before, you are basically buying a gift certificate. In 48 hours it will appear in your “My Groupons” account and you can print it and use it in any store.
Your voucher is good through July 30th, but remember this will only be on Groupon for the next 24 hours. So buy it and then have a discount the next time you head to the store.
(thanks Balancing Beauty & Bedlam!)
This Sunday, 6/05, you will have (3) inserts in your Sunday newspaper.
Be on the lookout for:
(1) SmartSource
(1) Procter & Gamble
(1) RedPlum
Remember there are differences between every city and the coupons you get will vary somewhat. Check back next Wednesday to get the exact list of what came out in your area.
Don’t get the Sunday paper? Check this site for good deals for newspapers in your area. Also, in many areas you can subscribe to only Sunday, which is also a great way to cut costs!
