Heads up teachers! Pets in the Classroom has started taking applications for the 2023-2024 school year!

This program provides grant funding to Pre-K through 9th Grade Teachers to purchase and maintain small animals in the classroom so that children will have an opportunity to interact with pets.

You can also apply for a sustaining grant if you already have a pet in your classroom and they will help provide funds for food and supplies!

Do You Qualify:

  • Good for teachers in Publix or private schools teaching pre-K through 9th grade.
  • Only for small mammals, birds, fish, reptiles, and arachnids.

They also state that everyone that qualifies will receive a grant!! 

Through the years Pets In the Classroom has provided over 225,000 grants straight to teachers!!
