Starbucks rewards program is not worth the time anymore. Ever since they changed it – it just isn’t worth the time.

As a student who has spent an extraordinary amount of time studying in my local Starbucks, I tend to disagree. I buy iced tea or iced coffee while I am there, and get free refills the whole time I am there. Then, when I have earned 12 stars, I use the free drink on the splurge item (both $ and calorie splurge)–the venti size with whipped cream–all of the bells and whistles.
(as for it being cheaper to study at home–I have a 3 month old and we live in a tiny place. I get more done in 2 hours there than 6 hours at home)

Like anything else, you just have to know how to work the deal.

Where did you find the information about this deal?

You can get a free 4 pack of Starbuck’s bottled coffee when you buy 2 packages of Starbuck’s coffee at Target this week; they have the stickers attached for “stars” and you can get a free cup of coffee at Starbucks stores when you turn in the bag. Enjoy!

I’ve never been able to register a Starbucks card. I’ve tried numerous times. I’m sure I’m doing something wrong, but I can’t figure out what it is.
