Every month I share a collection of 5 recipes that can all be made at the same time and then put in the freezer for future use. Since it’s currently the holiday season, I thought this time I’d share 5 recipes for freezer Christmas cookies. I like to do a big baking day, put all the cookies in the freezer, and then when it comes time to attend a gathering or give someone a small gift, I can create a little collection of various cookies without any extra work.

Stock the Freezer: Freezer Christmas Cookies Recipes (with Shopping List!)

These recipes use all the same basic ingredients with just a few different add-ins like white chocolate chips and peppermint bark. Those kinds of items can also be kept in the freezer for future baking if you don’t use them all up making the cookies!

At the end of the post is a grocery list if you want to make ONE batch of each of these recipes.

Chocolate Dipped Shortbread Cookies

Make sure you add the salt to these after you dip them in chocolate, because they really take them over the top!

Peppermint Bark Chocolate Chip Cookies

Peppermint and chocolate is one of my favorite holiday flavor combinations. You could even use your own chocolate chip cookie recipe and just add in peppermint bark.

Snickerdoodles

A good snickerdoodle is hard to beat. These are a delicious version of them and these freeze super well.

Chocolate Crinkle Cookies

While maybe not a traditional Christmas cookie, these are always a big hit and add a different look to a cookie platter.

White Chocolate Cranberry Cookies

I don’t love white chocolate, but for those who do, these are a perfect addition to your Christmas cookie repertoire.
