I’m very sad to share that as of yesterday Zaycon Fresh has closed down.  It was very sudden, but appears to be very final.  They have closed down their phones, facebook and website.

We’ve bought our meat through them for the past 7 years and have recommended them whole heartedly to all of you. We just picked up an order of bacon this weekend (as in 3 days ago).  I really didn’t see this coming at all!

If You Have An Outstanding Order:
For anyone that placed an order that hasn’t delivered yet, you need to call your credit card company and dispute the charge.  Explain that the company has shut down their business and all ways for customers to contact them and that you never received the product.  Do not wait too long to do this, as the further out it gets the more they are apt to not approve it.  We had orders for fall pickups for Chicken and Salmon and are in the same boat as many of you.

I would love to give them benefit of the doubt that they would refund orders, but at this point I think it’s best to be proactive to get your money back.

If you need it to file a claim, I did find this address for them in old emails:

Zaycon Foods LLC 2018
16201 E. Indiana Avenue, Suite 2150, Spokane Valley, WA 99216

Where Do We Buy Meat Now:
The best way to save on meat will always be to buy in bulk.  While we have lost a great way to save, there are other ways to save.  Look in your area to see if you have any restaurant supply stores.  We have a US Foods Chef Store here.  These stores sell bulk fresh meat that many times will be slightly cheaper than Zaycon prices!  Also check with local butchers to find farms in your area that will sell directly to you.  We used to get buy a quarter cow (before Zaycon) and saved a ton doing that each year!
