DIY Christmas tree stump ornaments

Not only are tree stump ornaments awesome to remember your first Christmas married, or your new baby’s first Christmas, but they’re cute and simple.

I found some of the cutest tree stumps over at Mountain Modern Life.

Either cut the limbs off a tree in your backyard (or off the bottom of the tree you just bought) or you can buy them from a craft store.  Sand each side, drill and eye hook in the top, and transfer and images or words you want for your ornament.  Find some beautiful ribbon to tie it on, and you’re all set!
