When folks ask me how to get started, one of the first things I say is to make a shopping list with maybe 10 items on it. Grab the coupons for those 10 items and head to the store. You are setting yourself up for an easy win, and making your first trip not feel like it took hours to get things together. Starting small is a good way to start all sorts of things, and couponing is definitely one of them!
To help you out, this week I made a list of what those items would be for me. These are all easy deals, with only one deal needing a newspaper coupon (I did that on purpose in case folks don’t have the paper yet).
Before Shopping
Go ahead and download the Ibotta App and the SavingStar App so that you can get the savings back on those offers after you shop. These are like rebates and won’t come off in the store, but take a picture of your receipt and upload it to the apps and you’ll get your money back within a couple days.
Create an account at Publix so you can use their digital coupons. You’ll enter your phone number in the credit card pad at the register and it will automatically take off all the digital offers you saved and then you bought items for!
