Looking for an affordable Father’s Day gift that dad will love? How about a Philips Norelco 6948XL Razor for $9.99! Through 6/28, this razor is on a price cut for only $29.99 (regularly $52.99!)

Even better, there is a $20 off any Philips Norelco Shaver Series 6000 coupon available to print. Don’t miss out on this very high value coupon. This will make for a great deal!

Deal Idea:

Philips Norelco 6948XL Razor $29.99 (regularly $52.99!)
-$20 off Philips Norelco Shaver Series 6000 printable
makes it $9.99

Also, make sure to check what you received from the Coupon Machine because some people are getting $4 off $10 razor CVS coupon, which would make for an even better deal.

    • I just read on another blog that this razor is actually part of the 2000 series – http://www.p4c.philips.com/cgi-bin/dcbint/cpindex.pl?ctn=6948XL/41&slg=EN&scy=US – and the coupon won’t work on it. It could be worth a try, though.

    • Rachel

Jenny, there seems to be a debate as to whether the $20/1 printable applies to this product. Norelco set up series that don’t correspond with the model numbers, so per their website, the 6948XL is actually part of the 2000 series and not the 6000 series. There is a $5/1 printable that does correspond with the 2000 series. http://www.usa.philips.com/c-p/6948XL_41/norelco-shaver-2100-series-2000-dry-electric-shaver

    • FrancesA

When does this deal start? It is still $52.99 on CVS site. FYI Also, the picture does not match the CVS picture.

      • Donna Anders

My cvs has them for $29.99. I got the last two. I imagine they will be gone by early tomorrow? Hth.

        • katie

I found two in stock, but the $20 MQ beeped. I cannot use it. Did you get them with MQs?

          • Danielle

My store had one in Stock and it does not look like the one pictured but any 6000 series will work with MQ. I got 1 and used the $20 MQ from coupons.com and the $4 off any razor $12 or more CVS coupon from the red coupon machine. It works. They are legit.

          • Donna Anders

It beeped because they are high value coupons and require management to over ride them. Hth

      • Website prices and store prices may be different.

    • Tiffany

I only found a $5 coupon. and when does the deal start?

      • Kathy

go directly to the Phlip’s website…you will need to enter your e-mail to print it just google Norelco razor coupon

    • Armani

I got mine today and my dad will be so excited to see his new razor!

    • I just checked two stores and they are both out.

    • I just checked two stores and they are both out.

    • Guest

Store in fayetteville ga told us the Q was bogus and that we could not to use it. So we did not get one.

      • Taylor

The same thing happened to me at the only store at which I could find one in stock :(. I got a raincheck from another location, so I’ll try again.

    • Krista

I heard that this coupon won’t work for the $29.99 razor – it is a 2000 series, not a 6000 series.

      • Tamara

There are three series on sale. One of them is the 6948xl and for that one the coupon works. I got two this morning. One for father in law, one for hubby. No problem at all!

        • Krista

          Thanks for the clarification!

    • Never_Speechless

Can’t wait to do this. Will have to wait til 6/3 for when I go into Boston and I think I will end up getting it for free. Hope they still have it in stock.

    • Van

Krista is correct. The 6948XL Razor is a 2000 series. Here is the link:

    • Rachel

The 6948XL model is not in the 6000 series. You must purchase the 6945XL model which is also $29.99 and IS in the 6000 series. It’s coupon misuse to use the $20/1 mq on the 6948XL model.

      • YM

        Hi Rachel,
You can actually use the $20.00 MQ on the 6948XL model. I was able to use it today with no hiccups. Also, Norelco only puts out MQ to cover the entire series (i.e. 4000,5000,6000 ect). So the 6948XL falls in the 6000 series of shavers. If you are interested in a 8000 series shaver there is a MQ on coupon.com for $50.00. Happy couponing! :-)

      • spi_cy13

Philips Norelco has the dumbest numbering system I’ve ever seen! Why should a 2000 series razor include a 6948XL model?

        • Rachel

I know, it’s ridiculous. No wonder everyone is so confused!

    • noella

go mine today paid 8.09 for the razor my husband cant wait to use it what a great deal

    • Vicky mcarthur

Thanks Jenny ! Just purchased mine for 3.55 ! Used 4 off of 10 and 4 dollar ecb. Great deal !

    • Ckm

I just got my 6948XL!! What a great deal!! Thanks.

    • sweetlee

There were actually 4 left today at my local store. Remember to scan your card first for an additional $4 off a razor purchase. This is the best deal in a long time, hope my husband likes it.

    • debi

Went to every store in my area ( 7 of them) and ALL were out.. :( Was hoping to get it for my son.. Oh well..

    • Brittany

My store was out but said the $29.99 price was till June 28th

    • Never_Speechless

I was at walmart today and saw they have this model for $29.99 also. They are sold out at my store though. They have plenty at my CVS though. I have a $5- off 20-

    • Kim

My CVS wouldn’t take my coupon for a 6948 XL. They said it wasn’t in the 6000 series.

      • GUEST

I would have argued that point. 6948 IS in the 6000 series for Norelco. Check out Norelco’s website. BTW, did the clerk try to scan your coupon?

        • VP22

Actually it’s not. The 6948 is part of the Series 2000. The way they have the model numbers and series numbers is super confusing. The 6945 is part of the 6000 series.

          • nightngalegirl

VP22 is right. It’s not in the 6000 series.

    • Tracey

I got mine without a problem too… Also had a $4 off any $10 razor purchase when I scanned my card… So $5.99 for me :-) Last one in stock at my store!

    • Valarie

I have a Catlina Save $5.00 on any Philips Norelco Razor that printed at Walgreens. It says manufacture coupon across the top and also Redeemable at Walgreens. Can I use this at CVS?

      • karen

yes. As long as a coupon does not say redeemable exclusively at a specific store, you can use it anywhere. Don’t forget a catalina can be combined with a manufacturer.

    • AmberM

Tried to do this at my local Walmart. They told me there policy had changed that when a coupon beeps they cannot take it. Also told me it was not for that razor. Talked to two managers and both argued the same thing. Would not care to see the policy. Main manager said that there is so many coupons only that’s fake. Calling up cooperate as soon as there phones are open. Anyone else had this problem?

      • nightngalegirl

It’s not for that razor. I already called the company and talked to them and apparently, this is a problem with a lot of people. It’s a bit confusing, though. It’s for the 1100-number models.

    • mea

husband went to Wags…I printed both the $20 and $50 Q. He found a $120 Philips on sale for $80 something…used the $50 Q and the blue card brought it down to 19.99. He is thrilled!

    • Corrie

My CVS wouldn’t let me use the coupon because the box didn’t say 6000 on it. I argued a bit but then gave up. It seems, according to the comments below, that the one for sale was not part of the 6000 series anyway, so I am glad I gave up.

    • Amber

I do not see the $20 coupon anymore on coupons.com. Is there a specific zip I need to put in?

    • Jess

I went to 5 Walmart’s in the lynchburg bedford area of va, and 4 cvs’s and none had this item. All the shelves were cleared. I was so disappointed. Its hard in the lynchburg bedford area to coupon. People just clear the shelves. I saw one lady just last week using 4 different cvs cards for her purchases. I’m shopping in danville from now on.

    • Jennifer G.

Had to go to 2 different CVS’s, but got the last one at the 2nd stop! Used the coupon and a CVS coupon for $3 off an $8 razor purchase bringing it down to under $8. Thanks so much…my husband is excited about the razor and I am excited about the deal!

    • canes1999

are these coupons out of prints?

    • Jeka LeHew Davis

why am i not able to find this coupon ANYWHERE????? i would really like to get his for my husband

    • Kathy Owens

there is no $20.00 coupon on coupon.com

    • Kathy Owens

where is the$ 20.00 coupon at for Phillips Norelco on coupon.com all I see is 5.00,10.00 and 50.00

    • Guest

where is the $20.00 off coupon

    • Kathy Owens

where is the $20.00 off coupon. I’m not finding it?

    • nightngalegirl

Just to let everyone know, I just bought this razor at CVS (the 6948XL model) with this sale for 9.99 and used the 20 dollar off coupon, but when I got home I noticed that the coupon doesn’t seem to match the product. I called the company and sure enough- it’s NOT a 6000 series razor! Now I have to go back and return it to CVS for a refund since the manager at CVS told me that would be the best thing to do. I’m not saying that it would happen to me or anyone else, but I don’t want anyone here to get into any trouble for using an incorrect coupon on an incorrect product. It’s just not worth it!!

      • VP22

You are very correct. Coupon confused a lot of people. They are doing a bunch of explaining on their Facebook page.

    • Brianne

Just tried to use this coupon at CVS and they told me that it was a fraudulent coupon. Anyone else had this problem?

    • sachillbilly

Where do you find the CVS month long deals listed? My Wal-Mart wants proof.
