I thought I would take a few minutes before my big FSU game starts tonight to share how we did at Bi-Lo today. I’m quite pleased!
My goal on every trip is to save at least 50-60%, it’s not to leave the store only paying $1. If that were my goal, my family would hate me, the store would despise me and well we would go hungry. I want none of that to happen, so we are on the more moderate side of “extreme couponing”.
This trip included a number of competitor coupons, which is one reason I LOVE Bi-Lo. They take almost every store in town’s coupons, even the drugstores. Today they also took the Aldi $10 off coupon.
I thought I make it easy on you and pull exactly the deals I did from both the Bi-Lo Weekly ad list and the Bi-Lo Unadvertised Deals. Remember you can make just one a shopping list from each list combined, and you should always look at both lists!!

Total Spent in the Store: $$68.07
I’ll get back $6.15 from SavingStar and submitted for $2.75 from Ibotta.
Total after amounts back: $59.16
Total Saved: $155.54 or 72.4%
I also earned 40¢ in Fuelperks off my next 20 gallons = $8 saved! That puts the whole trip right at our weekly budget of $50. This will easily make this weeks meals of BBQ Pork, Chili, Chicken & Rice, Chicken Noodle Soup, Pork Chops & Mashed Potatoes and cake… lots and lots of cake. Not really, the cake just goes in the stockpile and we are set for the next birthday.
