I did this deal today, so easy. Thank you CVS for being so coupon friendly.

      • D

I went today and they had posted a sign that travel sizes are not included right next to these 3ounce bottles.

    • Winnie130

Our CVS had them at $2.79. But it’s still a good deal.

    • Tanya

Too bad they never have enough. Empty shelves on everything I was planning to buy this morning.

      • Always ask for a raincheck. Cvs rainchecks never expire and will print the ECB years from now :)

Waa-ait a minute…ECBs will still print after that week’s ad is over? I thought only the sale price would be honored. Even some of my local [VERY coupon-friendly] cashiers sometimes accommodate by reducing the raincheck price down to what it would be after the deal with ECB, explaining that ECBs won’t print. Or maybe I’m confusing this with Rite-Aid?

And by the way, thank you for all you do, Jenny! Before I started following your site, I didn’t know you could “stack” coupons. I thought you had to choose one or the other, either the manuf or a store Q. Ha!

          • jenny

Yes, you confused Rite-Aid and CVS. Rite Aid +ups will not print after the sale; But, with a rain check they reduce the price to the equivalent. CVS, on the other hand, will print out the ECBs based on the event number listed on the rain check.

            • e-lane

              Wow – thanks!

Wow, eye opener! The cashier is super friendly and already suggested RC. I just didn’t think it would do much good because of the non printing ECBs. I will whip out my original shopping list again. Thank you so much Jennifer!

will the $1.50/2 store Q work with this?

      • momothree

sorry forgot to mention….the $1.50/2 is for hand or body lotion

Just got back from CVS. There is a tag on the shelf saying the ad was in error and the travel and trial sizes are not included. I took a 3 oz. bottle to a manager to check and she said that size is travel. I suspect that CVS got wind of the good deal and took action. Oh, well, happy for those of you who got it. I love the ultra healing type of Jergens.

    • Elvira

I went today and they were out, but the tag did say they were included in the ECB’s, so I got a rain check.

Went yesterday. Used a coupon from the front little machine. The clerk told me she didn’t think it would work but when I told her to try and scan it, it worked. Mine were $2,69 but with the coupon, I paid $4,17 including the tax and got my $5 ECB.

    • Michelle

Thanks! This just worked in Durham, NC for me :-)

    • Kristy

The thing I love about CVS is that they will do rain checks and still give the ECB’s. I tried going to Walgreens recently and was told that they normally only have a couple of the free items after Register rewards and won’t do rain checks. CVS is definitely better. Plus I have been extremely embarrassed at Walgreens before. The cashier had to call the manager for a $1 printed coupon. She never even scanned it , so I asked what the problem was and was told that they have had a lot of fake coupons. So basically the cashier wasn’t worried about embarrassing me. They definitely aren’t coupon friendly like a CVS and Publix.

Worked today for me in NC. They were $2.67 a piece and there was a tag stating that the $5 ECB was an error and would not print. I took it to the register anyways and it still printed! That was with the 3 oz bottle.

I’m new to the CVS and Saving Star thanks to Jenny convincing me to try them!!! I have to say, I LOVE IT!!! I started small per her instructions and in just in a few days of trying I have received my first $3 ECB, $5 from Saving Star, free toothpaste, a raincheck for the lotion, and excellent customer service!!! You definitely can not go wrong if you watch the videos and heed her advice!! Thanks Jenny!! Me and my wallet thank you!!!!!
