Question, are anyone else’s Ibotta offers drastically reduced? In December I was getting $1.25-$1.00 back for boxes of cereal. Now it’s only $.50.

      • Ed

Yup. The promotional period ended Thursday and they dropped the values of the offers.

      • jessc5

And, it’s annoying when the offers aren’t even available! I found the Rice Krispies, but not the Cocoa Krispies. Really not so impressed with Ibotta…

    • KEB2009

agree with busylady. i see nothing showing $1 ibotta q. also im sure the 6 boxes that my local cvs has will be long gone off the shelf by the time i can make it there :)

      • BusyLady

I know that CVS will give you a rain check for the price of the items AND the ECB if they are out of something (such as the Aveeno deal that was going on last week). But will they let you use the 2/$3 coupon another day if they are out of the cereals??? Jenny, any experience with this?

        • I work at cvs. Unfortunately being able to use a coupon after it’s expired is 100% up to the manager. If it’s a manufacturer’s coupon the answer, at my store in particular, is always no. If it’s one of our coupons we will more than likely staple it to the raincheck for later use.

        • Kyle

My CVS accepts expired manufacture coupons if I have a raincheck as long as the coupon isn’t expired when I get the rain check.

I just redeemed the Ibotta Rice Krispies offer yesterday so it was there. I have noticed with Ibotta that I will have a offer and then by the time I buy the product, like last week Charmin t/p, and look to redeem it, the offer has mysteriously disappeared. I was disappointed with that and not sure how it happened. Anyone else had this happen?

      • Melissa

Yep, this happened to my sister. She had her whole list ready to go and then the offers were no longer there! They really need to post an expiration date on them. What a waste of time…

    • Kim

I agree with the majority I am not impressed with ibotta either I use nothing on their list and keep disliking so they load more and it seems it is mainly junk. I keep working at it to hopefully score something eventually, just downloaded another app Endorse anyone have opinions about that one?

      • tyradme

I have used endorse and worked fine got $4 for buying gas!

    • susandtim

not impressed with ibotta either. my husband signed up thru my referral and i did not get the $1 referral. also he did not get the $5 bonus. also offers are disappearing from the ones that i’ve already earned.

      • Julie

This happened to me last week…my sister signed up using my link and I never received credit for the referral. Contacted Ibotta and they said she didn’t use my link! Impossible since she’d never heard of it before I tagged her in the post on my FB wall. They refused to give me my referral credit and I’m guessing she won’t get her $5 either. My initial savings first time I used the app were great, but now my offers are for a lot less $$ and I’m not sure in the long run it will be worth the trouble. Jury is definitely still out on Ibotta in my opinion. I don’t care for companies whose customer service is lacking.

    • htk

My ibotta coupon only shows a .50 cents coupon for rice krispies, and no cocoa krispies coupon.

    • pocohontaswhite

If you look at the shopping list, each item will state when it needs to be redeemed by. Hope this helps on the ‘disappearing’ of offers. :)

    • pndbear2003

My coupon shows that it is also for corn flakes which I also have an ibotta coupon for.

      • Julie

Yes, mine showed that also so I bought a box of corn flakes and a box of rice krispies. Hopefully there won’t be any issues redeeming!

    • klaurenw

I cant find cvs on ibotta

    • Lyndsey Hood

Sale at cvs is for the 9 oz . Ibotta is 12 oz. won’t work . Found out the hard way

    • Rachel

Sorry, I’m new to this. How does the Ibotta coupon app work exactly? I did the trivia and poll and it says the amount pending and redeem, I click redeem, pick my store, then it says upload receipt. You have to purchase the item at the store and then the amount in the “pending” section is put into a paypal acct? Has anyone had any issues/concerns with this?
