I just got our shopping in under the wire again this week.  We ran out to Kroger today to get the current mega event and the 3 day sale items.

We grabbed a lot of things, many of which will be for thanksgiving dinner or desserts.  My girls are eager to start holiday baking so we also stocked up on some basic baking items.

Kroger:
Total before sales and coupons: $119.11
Total Spent: $56.83
Total Saved: $62.28 or 52.3%

Our non-coupon items included a pineapple, 2 packages of strawberries, 2 packages of sausage, eggnog (a splurge for my husband), and 2 Coca Cola 6pk bottles.  We rarely buy soda, it’s something that just isn’t in the budget, but it is a great deal part of the 3 day sale right now.  These go straight into the back of pantry and are saved for those days when a Coke is needed…  you know the days I’m talking about.
