I have unpacked boxes until my fingers bled this week.  The joyful side of that is realizing how much we have blessed with, the truthful side is that we pack rats and need to seriously declutter our lives.  The pantry was the last thing I packed and the first thing I unpacked.  As I reorganized everything I realized that we still have 8 bottles of BBQ sauce, 7 bottles of mustard, 8 boxes of cereal, and worst of all in my opinion 9 boxes of pancake mix.  To make pancake matters worse a box arrive today from Hungry Jack in preparation for a giveaway we will run in a week.  I think the next few weeks for us will be a lot like a scene from Forest Gump as we have pancake everything.  Pancake fried chicken, pancake donuts…

I did go shopping this week on top of all the unpacking.  I hit Bi-Lo on Valentine’s Eve.  We got things for a birthday party we hope to have tomorrow if the weather behaves, and lots of produce.  I also stocked up on orange juice, eggs, milk, and bread.  I’m in love with the Pepperidge Farm Simply bread and it is B1G1 right now, so my night was made!

Bi-Lo
Total before sales and coupons: $215.58
Total spent: $97.56
Total saved: $118.02 or 55%

This was a very B1G1 heavy trip, so that gets you 50% savings even before coupons.  Plus I used a $5 off $20 Publix coupon that came in my post office moving kit.
