We had a fun week this week.  It still involved lots of painting, and trips to the dump, but it was more calm and normal.  As for shopping we hit Publix and CVS.  I really didn’t need to go to CVS for anything, but when you have a little one in diapers it is best to not skip diaper deals ever.  So we went and grabbed some size 3 diapers, that’s what I’m currently stockpiling as we have all the size 1 and 2’s we should need).

Total before sales and coupons: $24.50
Total Spent: $13.89
Total Saved: $10.61
ECB Remaining: $5

In the end it’s like I paid $5.61 for two packs of diapers and a box of always pads!  Can’t beat that price for Pampers anywhere!

Publix was painful, I knew it would be.  We needed a lot… 3 gallons of milk 3 loaves of bread, produce and then all the sale items.  In the end we got very close to our 50% saved goal, just a tad shy.

Total before sales and coupons: $185.62
Total Spent: $102.10
Total Saved: $83.52 or 45%

My trip to Publix this week was AWSOME!!! OOP of $31.18, total saved $156.91 – WOOP!!! I did cash in a Sunlight RC x10 (and made $2.50!), found Dr Scholl’s on clearance (MM $3ea x 6!!)!

My Publix savings this week was 60% (loved paying $.30 for Green Giant veggies, $.99 for the Visine eye drops, $.48 for Juicy Juice, $.79 for Cottonelle wipes and $1.25 for the big jars of Prego pasta sauce)! Woo!

I also scored nicely at CVS this week taking advantage of the Always/Tampax deal, but the surprise $3 peelie on the Clear Men’s shampoo and the Ibotta $1.25 deposit made for an EVEN sweeter transaction! Since my CVS system consists of bringing my totals down to equal to or less than what I’m getting back in EBs, I paid $4.06 for six boxes of Always/Tampons and one bottle of Clear Men’s shampoo and got back $6 in EBs (Greenbag tag printed today!) plus the $1.25 Ibotta deposit! My $5 Beauty Buck also printed today, so I left the store with $11 total in CVS bucks. Yay!

I bought 52 jars of baby food, 2 packages of wipes, 4 cans of Red Gold Tomatoes, 1 lb Oscar Mayer ham, and 2 boxes of pasta for $15.15. Saved $30.71! Thanks to you, Jenny, I almost always save at least 50% and usually more now that I am getting better at it!
