  • .75/1 = 75 cents off one item

Take the Savings Pledge

Today is a big day!  Savings.com, has officially launched their Savings Pledge to help get Americans to save 1 billion dollars!!

I think this is awesome and I’m all about getting behind something that encourages us to take small steps towards a better budget and bigger savings. It’s one thing to think about savings, but now it’s time to put a little commitment towards it!

You can head over to Southern Savers facebook page and take the pledge.  You can go big and challenge yourself, or pick something you know is doable.  In the end I want us all to see and feel a difference in our budgets!

We are pledging $20 a week, it’s not a huge number but we already live pretty tight so anything more might really be tricky (and make people around me rather unhappy).
