Thanksgiving is around the corner, but if you’re eating low carb, you might feel panicked. Of course, you can eat the turkey without worrying about carbs, but mashed potatoes, casseroles, rolls, gravy… none of them are low carb. But you don’t have to assume that you’ll be eating only meat when you’re with family and friends. There are so many delicious recipes that fit right in with Thanksgiving but that have little to no carbs.

While I often love a post loaded with dozens of options, at this time of year I want my options to be simple. There are posts all over the Internet with 100 Thanksgiving recipes, but this year I instead wanted to give a simple low carb Thanksgiving meal plan with just 15 recipes total so you can mix and match which dishes you’d like to serve without feeling overwhelmed.

Low Carb Thanksgiving Meal Plan

Appetizers

Sausage Balls | Keto Size Me
No one will be able to tell that these are low carb. I make a similar version with regular flour and you truly can’t tell the difference!

Sausage Stuffed MushroomsPeace, Love, and Low Carb
When I’ve made these for parties or dinners, there are never any left. Double the recipe just in case!

Main Dishes

Simple Herb and Garlic Turkey Breast | Flavor the Moments
Turkey is the classic Thanksgiving main dish, and this recipe is easy and sure to please.

Skillet Chicken Pot Pie | Ruled Me
If you’re having a more laidback Thanksgiving and don’t want to cook a turkey, this low carb pot pie will be the perfect main dish.

Breads/Rolls

Cheesy Herb MuffinsI Breathe I’m Hungry
I’ve never gone wrong with recipes from this blog. These muffins will fill the bread-shaped hole in your low carb Thanksgiving dinner.

Keto Bread | Diet Doctor
These rolls look like rolls made with regular flour, and I doubt your guests will notice the difference!

Side Dishes

Loaded Cauliflower | Low Carb Maven
Mashed potatoes are an integral part of Thanksgiving dinner, but if you make this instead, you won’t even miss them.

Bacon Wrapped Green Beans | Paleo Leap
You can’t go wrong with bacon. Instead of traditional green bean casserole, serve these two-bite delights.

Broccoli Gratin with Swiss and Parmesan | Kalyn’s Kitchen
This is my favorite dish to bring to holiday meals. It is simple to make and reheats well. And best of all, it has tons of cheese!

Ultimate Keto Gravy | Keto Diet App
If you’re making turkey, you have to have gravy, but most traditional gravies have tons of cornstarch or flour, which aren’t low-carb friendly. This is the best substitute!

Brussels Sprouts Gratin | AllRecipes
As a kid, I hated brussels sprouts. As an adult, I could eat these all day long.

Spaghetti Squash Au Gratin with Bacon | Peace, Love, and Low Carb
I haven’t tried this recipe yet, but it looks like a good way to include more vegetables in your low carb Thanksgiving meal plan while not sacrificing flavor (because: bacon!).

Desserts

Pumpkin Cheesecake Mousse | Sugar Free Mom
I made this mousse a few weeks ago when we had company coming over and I enjoyed eating it as a treat for days afterward. Add some chocolate chips on top for a decadent dessert!

Peanut Butter and Chocolate Pie | I Breathe I’m Hungry
If pumpkin at Thanksgiving isn’t your jam, then this peanut butter and chocolate pie will hopefully be a better option.

Mini Pumpkin Pies | Joy Filled Eats
To stay in control of portion sizes, make these mini pumpkin pies for all of the flavor of Thanksgiving with way fewer carbs.
