At this point in time, we’re all trying to find ways to save money and limit going to the grocery store. Repurposing leftovers is a great way to get more mileage out of a meal you’ve already cooked. Whether it’s leftover vegetables or meat, there are lots of options for ways to make another meal out of the same ingredients.

That said, seeing a hunk of boring leftover chicken in your fridge can be so unappetizing. There’s a good chance that it will either get thrown away or sit there long enough that it should start paying rent. It does, however, have a wonderful potential to become something brand new. Use chopped chicken to make lettuce wraps or shred it to make BBQ chicken sandwiches. With chicken, the possibilities are just about limitless. Plus, if you’re working with a leftover whole or rotisserie chicken, you’ll be able to use those bones to make some great stock! Here are my 5 favorite leftover chicken recipes!

The prices listed below are an average price based on what’s on sale this week so you’ll have something to compare to your shopping list for your local grocery store.
